WILL MILEY CYRUS PLAY YOUNG CARRIE BRADSHAW IN THE POSSIBLE PREQUEL OF "SEX AND THE CITY"?

While she is conquering the world with her sensational new video "Can't Be Tamed", looking better than ever, Miley Cyrus has revealed that she wouldn't mind playing young Carrie Bradshaw in a possible prequel to "Sex and the City" movie. Although the third "Sex and the City" film wasn't yet announced it seems that a possible direction could be to go to Carrie's youth following the latest book from the "Sex and the City" creator Candace Bushnell called "The Carrie Diaries" which follows Carrie's youth before she came to NY. Candace Bushnell actually said a few years ago that Miley Cyrus would be great as the famous columnist in her teen years. Miley herself has admitted recently in an interview that she would love to do a younger, cleaner version of "Sex and the City".
As you know, Miley has recently finished "Hannah Montana", the show which made her famous, and she also starred this year in "The Last Song" with her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, the brother of the future THOR, Chris himself, who is also having nice times in his career after scoring the lead role in the upcoming epic "Arabian Nights".

FIRST TEASER POSTERS FOR "CAPTAIN AMERICA THE FIRST AVENGER" AND "GREEN LANTERN"

Boring Sunday brings us some new logo-posters for some of the most anticipated super hero movies. Here are the first teaser posters for "Captain America: the First Avenger" and "Green Lantern". Nobody is sure whether these are the official posters, but most movie sites think they are. You already know that "Captain America" stars Chris Evans while "Green Lantern" stars Ryan Reynolds, and both movies are out next year. As you can see both movies have quite cheesy promo-lines "When Patriots Become Heroes" and "Anyone Can be Chosen".

FIRST PREVIEW CLIP FROM SHOWTIME'S UPCOMING HISTORICAL SAGA "THE BORGIAS" WITH JEREMY IRONS

Check out the first preview clip in which director Neil Jordan ("Crying Game", "Interview with a Vampire"), producer Michael Hirst ("The Tudors", "Elizabeth the Golden Age") and actor Jeremy Irons talk about the most anticipated show "The Borgias" which is coming to Showtime in 2011. "The Borgias" will be a complex, scandalous, edgy, unvarnished portrait of one of history’s most intriguing and infamous dynastic families whose power and influence eventually lead them to their demise. Their motto was "politics have no relation to morals". Jeremy Irons will portray pope Rodrigo Borgia, the cunning, manipulative patriarch of the Borgia family, Colm Feore will play his arch enemy Cardinal Giuliano Della Rovere, while François Arnaud will play Cesare Borgia, Rodrigo's Machiavellian son. BRETT RATNER PREPARING A NEW LIVE ACTION ADAPTATION OF "SNOW WHITE"

We'll definitely be seeing a lot of fairy tales on the big screen in the future. Beside already announced "Cinderella", "Jack The Giant Killer", "Wizard of Oz" and "Maleficent", and already successful "Alice in Wonderland", it seems "Snow White" will get a live action movie as well. According to "Deadline New York", director Brett Ratner is preparing the live action adaptation of "Snow White".
In the new movie, a young woman will still get poisoned by the evil witch's apple, but there will also be several updated aspects to the story. The plot will be more connected to the 500 year old folk tale and will put in some of the things that were missing from Walt Disney's film. His dwarves were miners, and here they will be robbers. There is also a dragon that was in the original folk tale. This new "Snow White" is going to be more edgy, with more comedy.

MESMERIZING FIRST POSTERS FOR SF ROMANCE "UPSIDE DOWN" WITH KIRSTEN DUNST AND JIM STURGESS

It seems that the lovely and very intriguing Kirsten Dunst sf romance "Upside Down", which HOLLYWOOD SPY wrote about last autumn, is progressing really nice. Check out the first posters. As you know, the story of "Upside Down" takes place in two worlds that are literally on top each other, each city with their own gravity system. Sadly, the citizens of each town can not visit the other, for unknown reasons. Jim Sturgess plays the main character Adam, who falls in love with a girl from the upside down world Eve, played by Kirsten Dunst. And like any good lovelorn hero, he's not going to let a little thing like gravity get in the way of his heart's desire.
The big plus in this movie is its production designer Alex McDowell ("Watchmen", "The Crow", "Fight Club","The Minority Report").

ASHLEY JUDD AND PATRICK DEMPSEY IN "FLYPAPER"

I've always loved Ashley Judd, she is so charismatic and so unbelievably beautiful, and she had such a promising start, but I just don't know what has happened to her later on. She kept starring only in thrillers, never made some groundbreaking performance, and somehow just got stuck in B-league instead reaching the top as she deserves. I was so excited when she was supposed to play Catwoman, but then Halle Berry took the role and we know what kind of disaster the film was after that. And now Ashley has a new role. Together with Patrick Dempsey she will star in the bank heist comedy "Flypaper" and according to "MovieWeb" this will be her first role after not working for a year to get her graduate degree at Harvard. "Flypaper" will tell the story of a bank robbed by two different groups of crooks at the same time. However, they both get upended by a secret enemy (Patrick Dempsey), as he tries to save the bank teller (Ashley Judd) he is in love with.

EXCLUSIVE: FIRST CONCEPT IMAGES OF "THOR" COSTUME

Ok, so after we've seen the concept images of Captain America's costume yesterday, today the Net is swamped by the similar concept images of Thor's costume, but this time Marvel hasn't really confirmed whether this one is real or not. Off course it doesn't mean we can't study the look of Chris Hemsworth in these pics. Do you like it? I'm not really amazed, I've expected something more spectacular and more stylish, this costume looks a bit too rough for me, but we shall wait and see whether it's the real costume or not.
As you know, directed by Kenneth Branagh and starring Chris Hemsworth "Thor" will follow a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

THE FIRST CONCEPT IMAGES OF "CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER" COSTUME

After we've seen many different fan-drawn images of Captain America's film costume last week all around the Net, it seems that "Ain't It Cool News" has the real deal - these are the first concept images of the costume which will be worn by Chris Evans in "Captain America: The First Avenger". As you can see, Captain will wear an army helmet instead of the original hood, and the blue colour of the whole costume will be less vivid than in the comics. As you know, "Captain America: The First Avenger" is out in July 2011 and stars Chris Evans, Hugo Weaving, Tommy Lee Jones, Sebastian Stan, Dominic Cooper ...

EXCLUSIVE: FIRST ARTWORK FROM "XERXES" THE "300" PREQUEL BY FRANK MILLER

Here's a real treat. "Dark Horse Comics" has just released the first artwork image from the upcoming comic book "Xerxes" by Frank Miller, which is basically a prequel to his comic book "300" which was adapted into one of the most famous epics ever. "Xerxes" should be made into a new movie by "300" director Zack Snyder. Xerxes rose to power in fifth-century-BC Persia and became known as "The King of Kings" eventually raising and leading a massive army intent on ruthlessly destroying the hated Greeks who killed his father. He wanted nothing less than to become a god himself. The time frame of "Xerxes" begins 10 years before "300" and the story starts with the Battle of Marathon which was extremely difficult to draw as Miller said himself. The lead character of the book and of the possible movie is Themistocles, who became warlord of Greece and built their navy. The story will cover a much greater span of time - around 10 years, and will be very complex, with many details such as the conflict between Athenian naval fleet and the Persian fleet, the conflicts between spies, gods, warriors...

JOSH HOLLOWAY IN TALKS WITH MARVEL TO JOIN "THE AVENGERS"?

Oh, here's another super-hero news. According to latest rumors circling around the Net, "Lost" star Josh Holloway is negotiating with Marvel to take a lead role in an upcoming film about one of Marvel's characters. Some websites are speculating that he might get a role of Ant-man or Hawkeye, since both of those characters appear in the announced superhero film "The Avengers", while Ant-Men also has it's own spin-off announced. "The Avengers", which is supposed to bring the Marvel team of super heroes together in the same movie is scheduled for 2012 and will be directed by Josh Whedon with Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man and Samuel L. Jackson in the cast. They also have to find someone to play Hulk. Josh Holloway could also appear among them if these rumors are true.
