EPIC TV SERIES TEASER AND POSTER

Last September your spy told you that the production had started last summer on new historical TV series PRINCE ANDREY (Князь Андрей ) which will delve deeper into their past going all the way back to the 12th century and today we have the exciting first teaser trailer and a poster for the series that will air soon on Russia 1 broadcaster and also stream on their streamer Smotrim. Alexander Golubev takes the lead role with Alexander Baluyev, Sergey Bezrukov, Alexander Ustyugov, Aglaya Shilovskaya, Boris Kamorzin, Polina Chernyshova, Artem Tkachenko and Stanislav Lyubshinand also starring in the epic series that will air on Russian national broadcaster. Although not one of the most famous of their historical figures, Andrey was loved by the people and was proclaimed a saint later on.

THE SERIES IS SET IN 12TH CENTURY RUSSIA

It was a period of the brutal internal struggle between the princes from the family of Rurikovich. The young prince Andrey Bogolyubsky, the son of Yuri Dolgoruky and the grandson of Vladimir Monomakh, returns home from Byzantium, where he spent several years. His dream is to reign in his native Suzdal land, turning it into a new prosperous center of all Russia. However, the powerful father of Andrey, experienced Yuri Dolgoruky sees in his son only a submissive performer of his will, and the heir to the Grand  Duke's throne decides to revolt - declares himself an independent ruler. At first, all his plans are quickly implemented: the architects invited from Byzantium and Europe build white stone churches, fortresses and even new cities in the Suzdal principality, strongholds and entire new cities, Orthodox religion is strengthening and trade flourishes. But, becoming the most powerful ruler of Russia, Prince Andrey has also gained equally powerful enemies who weave around him a web of betrayals, conspiracies and intrigues.

1001NIGHTS:LEGEND OF GAWDAR

ENJOY THE EXOTIC ARABIAN NIGHTS

I came upon this one over at Russian streamer Smotrim which has it available for streaming with all thirty episodes in two seasons. 1001 NIGHTS: THE LEGEND OF GAWDAR (Gawdar: Alf Leyla W Leyla) is a super lavish and visually breathtaking epic series from the land of Egypt and I think it is the first one we have had here at Hollywood Spy from Egypt even though we strive to be global and international. It stars one of Egypt's biggest stars Yaser Galal and it follows Scheherazade who, in order to rid Shahryar of his bloodthirsty nature, begins to weave the threads of a story about the Egyptian Gawdar, whose fate was predetermined even before his birth. With rich sets and stunning costumes this adventure filled with fantasy will take us

fate, all while he fought against those who sought to control him. The season ended on a dramatic note. Gawdar lost his shop after his brother Salem set it on fire, forcing him to start again. Struggling to make ends meet, he decided to leave for Lake Qarun. His relationship with Shorouq also faced challenges when she offered him financial help through her father, which he rejected. After persuasion from his mother, he reconciled with Shorouq, and their wedding took place only for it to be overshadowed by a shocking murder that led to a violent confrontation. As chaos erupted, Gawdar’s shop burned down once again.
