It follows a covert team of elite operatives sent to take on a ruthless despot and steal back a billion-dollar fortune he swiped for himself. What begins as an impossible heist gets much worse, spiraling into an all-out war of strategy, deception and survival. Henry and Jake play two extraction specialists who have to designate a route of escape for a senior female negotiator. Kristofer Hivju, Emmett J. Scanlan, Jason Wong, Michael Vu, Elza Gonzales, Fisher Stevens, Rosamund Pike and Carlos Bardem will all be seen in the film as well.

To be directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber it is based on popular Japanese anime series from the 80s which followed a crew of space explorers who pilot a giant super robot known as Voltron made out of separate ships and vehicles.

The airing dates for this one are getting closer and closer, people! Whydates in plural? Because for the first time ever Netflix has decided to split THE WITCHER into two parts, so the first batch of season three's eight episodes will stream from June 29th (five episodes) and then the other part from July 27th! And, yes, this is the last season with Henry Cavill in the lead role of Geralt the Witcher, after that season four will have Liam Hemsworth

So is expected to lead two new epic adventure series while Netflix is left to save what is there to save from the poorly written Witcher adaptation. Joey Batey, Bard Edwards, Mimi Ndiweni, Eamon Farren, MyAnna Buring, Wilson Mbomio and Tom Canton are also set to return in Season 3. New arrivals are Robbie Amell as Gallatin, a born fighter who leads an army of guerrilla

brother to King Vizimir. With his good looks and often
drunken charm, Radovid surprises with how incisive he can be in matters

Well that is quite a hot tandem, isn't it? As Deadline reports, being presented over at Cannes will be an untitled new Guy Ritchie action movie in which Henry Cavill (who celebrates his 40th birthday today)and Jake Gyllenhaal will play two extraction specialists who must plan an escape path for a high-level female negotiator. In the film laced with Ritchie’s trademark humor, Eiza Gonzalez will play the female lead. Ritchie has recently finished WWII movie The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare which has both Cavill and González in the cast.

We are back again in the international waters with the first images from Polish historical epic movie SCARBORN (Kos) scheduled for October release. Movie begins in the spring of 1794. General Tadeusz 'Kos' Kosciuszko (Jacek Braciak) returns to Poland, which plans to start an uprising against the Russians, mobilizing the Polish nobility and peasants to do so. He is accompanied by a faithful friend and former slave, Domingo (Jason Mitchell). Russian captain, Dunin (Robert Wieckiewicz) wants to capture the general at all costs before he causes a national rebellion. At the same time, a young peasant, Ignac (Bartosz Bielenia), a noble bastard, dreams of being given his coat of arms and property by his illegitimate parent, Duchnowski (Andrzej Seweryn), who includes him in his will just before his death. When the father dies, the boy has to run away from his half-brother, Stanislaw (Piotr Pacek), who does not want to let his father's will be realized. Ignac steals the will and has only two days to appear in court with it and prove his knighthood. During the escape, Ignac meets Domingo on his way, and a strong bond of understanding is formed between the men, even though they both do not know each other's language. Together, they go to the Colonel's Wife manor (Agnieszka Grochowska), where Kosciuszko is hiding, waiting for negotiations with the magnates. Kos is distrustful of Ignac and keeps him under arrest, but at the decisive moment it is in the hands of an inconspicuous noble bastard who will lay the fate of the uprising. When the moment of trial comes, Ignac will have to choose - whether to continue following his coat of arms dream and his father's legacy, or to join Kosciuszko's "Kos" and fight with him for the highest stakes. Given that Viaplay is a co-producer, the film might stream on it in Nordic countries.
Sky and Peacock have set cast for their TV series adaptation of TATTOOIST OF AUSCHWITZ which tells the true-life story of Lale Sokolov (Jonah Hauer King), a Jewish prisoner who is given the job of tattooing identification numbers on fellow prisoners’ arms in the concentration camp. One day, he meets Gita (Anna Prochniak) when tattooing her prisoner number on her arm. They experience love at first sight, and so begins a courageous, unforgettable, and human story, told through one man’s memory and experience of Auschwitz-Birkenau; a tale of the very best of humanity in the very worst of circumstances. Jonas Nay and Melanie Lynskey will also star.

I've announced this one years ago, but it seems that this European production, executive produced by Roland Emmerich is finally arriving to cinemas near you this year and we have a rather fun first trailer to prove it: the movie adaptation of Mozart's famous opera THE MAGIC FLUTE should play its way into theatres this March directed by Florian Sigl.

The film opens with the story of Munch’s first love, before showing the
controversy around one of his early exhibitions. Munch’s admission to a
psychiatric clinic will also be covered, where he is forced to make the
biggest decision of his life, before the film relates the artist’s
battle to save his works from the Nazis during World War II as death
draws near.
If you thought that after being ditched by DC as Superman and leaving Witcher, our Henrylicious Cavill would break down and cry, you thought wrong! He has just announced that he is producing WARHAMMER series adaptation at Amazon and he will also star in the epic series based on a miniature wargame in which players enact battles using miniature models of warriors and fighting vehicles. It is set in the distant future, where a stagnant human civilization is threatened by hostile aliens and supernatural creatures. The models in the game are a mix of humans, aliens, and supernatural monsters, wielding futuristic weaponry and supernatural powers.

It's comedy all day today, people, starting with Love Actually's Richard Curtis who is penning new New York set untitled Christmas comedy movie at Universal and Working Title with Melissa McCarthy in the lead. of the new season that will, if I got it right, now have 20 episodes! In other sitcom news, CBS has ordered THEY'RE WITH ME multicam about Jackie and Eli who knew right away they were soulmates… too bad their souls come with so much baggage — each has a messed-up 20-something kid and a dependent parent. It is a modern take on a blended family where, instead of young children, Jackie and Eli both come with two generations of intrusive adults. Forget about an empty nest; the number of birds and eggs has doubled.
