From forged credentials to official contracts, his journey in the 1920s takes him via colonial backwaters all the way to the boardrooms of the Bank of Portugal – until his greatest bluff becomes one of the greatest cons in history. First up today, an image from Peter Glantz directed movie SAVAGE HOUSE set against the backdrop of 18th century England, a massive pox outbreak, and Jacobite uprising – it is a darkly satirical story of Sir Chauncey Savage (Richard E. Grant) and Lady Savage (Claire Foy) and their blindpursuit of a better life. It is not without a tinge of irony that their family name is the Savages, for this is a Savage House indeed. Filled with duels, decadence, and bloodshed, this is a madcap play on class and power. Bel Powley, Jack Farthing, Pip Torrens also star.

GANDHI TV SERIES
CASTS GANDHI AS GANDHI
Speaking of exotic lands, Applause Entertainment is adapting Ramachandra Guha’s Gandhi Before India and Gandhi – The Years that Changed the World
It will be a huge project over in India
into a TV series covering everything from GANDHI’s earliest days and his actions as a lawyer in South Africa to the independence struggle in India, telling the lesser known stories of his life that played an important role in shaping him into a Mahatma. It will also tell the stories of all his compatriots and contemporaries of the freedom movement, who played integral parts in shaping what became free and modern India. Pratik Gandhi, the surname is coincidental, will star as Gandhi, who rose from a campaigning lawyer to lead India to independence from the British Empire before his tragic assassination in 1947. Sameer Nair, pictured in the photo with Pratik and Guha, will produce.
THE GOOD NEIGHBOR TRAILER
FEAR WHAT'S NEXT DOOR
The Good Neighbor is out this year
And here is a rather dynamic trailer for thriller movie THE GOOD NEIGHBOR in which a budding friendship takes a tragic flip when one of them runs over a younger lady. A nightmarish night unfolds for neighbors David (Luke Kleintank) and Robert (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) once they by chance hit a girl on her bike and flee the scene. Whereas David is more and more affected by emotions of guilt, Robert exhibits no regret and turns into overbearing and possessive.
When David meets Vanessa (Eloise Smyth), the sufferer’s sister, he submits to a reckless ardour and underlying sense of redemption earlier than realising Robert will do unspeakable issues to guard their secret…
Done over at Showtime, it will be based on a novel by Thomas Mallon. FELLOW TRAVELERS will be an eight part love story and political thriller, chronicling the volatile romance of two very different men who meet in the shadow of McCarthy-era Washington. Bomer will play handsome, charismatic Hawkins Fuller, who maintains a financially rewarding, behind-the scenes career in politics. Hawkins avoids emotional entanglements, until he meets Tim Laughlin, a young man brimming with idealism and religious faith. They begin a romance just as Joseph McCarthy and Roy Cohn declare war on “subversives and sexual deviants,” initiating one of the darkest periods in 20th-century American history. Over the course of four decades, Hawk and Tim cross paths through the Vietnam War protests of the 1960s, the drug-fueled disco hedonism of the 1970s and the AIDS crisis of the 1980s, while facing obstacles in the world and in themselves.
