 I announced last winter that CW has ordered an eight part mini series SHERLOCK & DAUGHTER and the latest news is that it will premiere April 16th. It will also air on Discovery +

New series will air on CW over in USA

in UK as their first ever drama series. It has also been sold to Scandinavia and to SBS in Australia.  Check out the trailer below.

 

  THE STORY

David Thewlis stars as Sherlock Holmes who is put out of his comfort zone, mysteriously unable to investigate a sinister case without risking the lives of his closest friends. Enter: young American Amelia (Blu Hunt). After her mother’s mysterious murder, she learns her missing father may be the legendary detective. Despite wildly different backgrounds and attitudes, the pair must work together to solve a global conspiracy, crack her mother’s murder, and find out for sure if she really is Sherlock’s daughter. Dougray Scott stars as Holmes’ nemesis, Moriarty. It will be a light crime series not overly dark so that it can air in prime time around the world.
