ITV has not only given a second season to their warm, family series THE LARKINS, which will be back later this year, but has also announced new cast: while Bradley Walsh and Joanna Scanlan return as the much loved Pop and Ma Larkin, Sabrina Bartlett who has been kicked out of the show
Maxim Ays and newcomer Joelle Rae are new faces in the cast
will be replaced by Joelle Rae as their oldest daughter Mariette. Tok Stephen will be back as her love interest Cedric “Charley” Charlton. The fictional village of Littlechurch will also get a handsome new Reverend Candy to be portrayed by Sanditon's Maxim Ays who will immediately set hearts aflutter, especially Primrose Larkin's! The mother, Pinkie, played by Morgana Robinson, takes an instant dislike to the Larkins. As does the rest of the family, and they are soon at war. Hector Bateman Harden will play her son Gilbert while Lucy Allix will play daughter Blanche. As you know, The Larkins are a remake of classic series Darling Buds of May. It airs in Acorn in USA.
