Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Ian Blair (Conleth Hill) launches a large-scale counter terrorism operation to prevent further attacks with Assistant Commissioner Andy Hayman (Max Beesley) leading the investigation into the bombings. Unbeknownst to them, another terrorist cell plots an assault that could equal the devastation of 7/7. As Deadline reports, our dearest Russell Tovey has joined the cast of Disney Plus new true story series SUSPECT: THE SHOOTING OF JEAN CHARLES DE MENEZES which describes the tragic shooting of an innocent man mistaken for a terrorist in London bombings twenty years ago. Edison Alcaide will play De Menezes whose death happened around two weeks after 7/7 following a second set of planned attacks, which failed but set off a manhunt. The Brazilian electrician was mistakenly shot by police at a London underground station, leading to protests, introspection over shoot-to-kill policies and fierce criticism of the Metropolitan Police. Russell Tovey will also star alongside Conleth Hill, Max Beesley, Emily Mortimer, Daniel Mays, Laura Aikman and Alex Jennings. Mortimer and Hill will play police chiefs.

Apple TV Plus has issued trailer for their THE NEW LOOK mini series which will start streaming its ten episodes February 14th set in Paris after the Nazi occupation of the French capital when it became the heart of a fashion revival led by Christian Dior (Ben Mendelsohn) but it caused his clash with Coco Chanel (Juliette Binoche) who reigned the fashion world before that. Maisie Williams also stars as Catherine Dior, Emily Mortimer as Elsa Lombardi, John Malkovich as Lucien Lelongand, Claes Bang as Spatz with Glenn Close as one of the lead fashion editors of the time. Our French hunkster Hugo Becker also stars. Cristóbal Balenciaga, Pierre Cardin, Hubert de Givenchy and Pierre Balmain will also be featured as they were their contemporaries. It will not arrive this year as it is set for February 14th launch at Apple TV Plus, but we have the first images from THE NEW LOOK mini TV series which will revolve around the fashion war between Christian Dior and Coco Chanel, played by Ben Mendelsohn and Juliette Binoche. The series will have a three episode premiere with the rest airing weekly till April.

Ramirez, Clemence Poesy! As Deadline reports, the film based on the inspirational true story of iconic French mime artist Marcel Marceau who worked with the French Resistance to help save the lives of thousands of orphans during the war.

  The film will chart how groups of Girl and Boy Scouts created a network to help save children whose parents had been killed by the Nazis. Marceau, an orthodox Jew whose father was killed in Auschwitz, is said to have learned to mime partly in order to help the children escape.

Eisenberg, apparently prepared for a whole year for the role with the help of his own mother who worked before as a clown. Ed Harris will portray General George S. Patton, Poésy will play a central member of the French Resistance!
