As you know Russians are the biggest producers of historical series and films having had a very rich history, so you will not be surprised to hear that yet another one is being shot, but this one going into their deeper past.
EASTERN ROAD (Восточная дорога) will be set in the Ryurik era leading us from Ladoga to Byzantium. The eight part series will take us to the
Viking Age, the figure of Prince Ryurik and the birth of Russian statehood. The story is set in the 9th century, when the river route from Europe to
Byzantium was under the control of the Scandinavians-Russ, who collected tribute from the surrounding tribes. At the center of these turbulent events is
Ladoga, where Ryurik rules. Against the background of the clash of interests of the interests of the Russians and the Slavs, there are changes that are destined
to determine the fate of huge lands. It is being done for Okko streamer with Alexey Serebryakov, Daria Vereshchagina, Mikhail Evlanov, Mohamed Abdel Fattah, Elizaveta Yurieva in the cast.

No por la explicación que siempre es impecable, es que al ver las imágenes me suena a historia ya vista , no se si logro explicarme . Me suele pasar de vez en cuando que un simple cartel de película ya me tira para atrás y luego a lo mejor es un peliculón o serie, pero es como un aviso interior que me dice : esta no es para ti"
ReplyDeleteThe shooting has just started so these are very early set photos not official ones. I would love to investigate their early past because we do not often get series on Ryurik and his dynasty.
