Ready to start shooting next January, Tom Ford's new movie project CRY TO HEAVEN has gathered an almost insanely stellar cast which even includes a movie debut from Adele! Based on Ann Rice's novel the costume
movie is set against a backdrop of opera in 18th century Italy and follows a Venetian noble and a castrated Calabrian singer as they try to find success in that world. Aaron Taylor Johnson, Nicholas Hoult, Owen Cooper, star
next to Ciarán Hinds, George MacKay, Mark Strong, Paul Bettany, Thandie Newton, Daryl McCormack and Colin Firth who already worked with the fashion designer director in A Single Man.

Sounds like an interesting storyline.
ReplyDeleteShould be really good with that cast and Ford's sense of style.
DeleteParece que cuenta con buenos actores. te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteBuenos claro!
DeleteI look forward to this one!
ReplyDeleteShould be good and hopefully sexy like his previous film.
DeleteI love the book but... they are too old for the roles, all of them. Tonio, the protagonist, is 18 while Guido is 24, and the others are 10-20 years older
ReplyDeleteI mean Owen is like fourteen, how is that too old? And Nick looks like he is fifteen.
DeleteI know I read the book but can't remember a thing about it. Unlike Stephen King, I do think Rice's work translates well to screen, so I'll give it a shot.
ReplyDeleteI watched King's Life of Chuck last night, what a stupid stupid and shallow movie!
DeleteI've been trying to watch Lisey's Story on Apple Plus while I am subscribed and what a freaking drag it is. I loved the book, but once again, his screen work sucks.
DeleteMost films these days are boring as shit.
