VARVARA THE FAIR WITH THE SILKEN HAIR FAIRY TALE MOVIE ADAPTATION

Straight from the land of Russia and their endless well of enchanting folk tales, myths and legends come first images from the new big screen adaptation of their famous fairy tale VARVARA THE FAIR WITH THE SILKEN HAIR (Варвара-Краса) which should arrive into cinemas in March 2027 and has recently started shooting. Rinata Timerbaeva will play the title character, and Vitaly Kornienko will play the role of the little inhabitant of the underwater kingdom, Echo. Also starring will be the ultimate Russian superstar Alexander Petrov, Panslavic star Serbian actor Milos Bikovic, Kirill Pletnev, and Nikita Policemako in undisclosed roles to be revealed later on.

  THE STORY OF THE ENCHANTING FILM

is set in a magical, fairy tale land, where a story filled with enchantment, cunning, and true love unfolds. Tsar Yeremey promises the ruler of the underwater kingdom, Berendey, the marriage of his only son, Yelisey, to his daughter, the beautiful Princess Varvara the Beautiful. However, instead of an heir, a simple blacksmith, Andrei, arrives in the kingdom, whose fate suddenly intertwines with the underwater world.
