According to Screen Daily, Anthony Hopkins has been set as lead in THE SPECIES film on Charles Darwin with Charlotte Rampling as his wife. Justin Chadwick is directing the film that will also have Billy Howle and Tom Hollander in the cast. With Hopkins as the Victorian biologist,

Interesting. Okay, now I have a question for you. I've heard about trends leading to people filming outside the US more than in Hollywood. Are you seeing that trent?
ReplyDeleteThat is not a trend but a predominant custom that has been on for at least a decade or two now. Here in Europe the costs are lower, the crew cheaper and more professional and the nature and the sets are various. Most of the historical shows, for example, in last two decades have been shot here in Serbia, Croatia or Hungary. We've just had Robin Hood that premiered last Sunday on MGM PLus shot here in Serbia earlier this year.
