WIND OF CHANGE
DOMINIC WEST, ED SPELEERS, ALEXANDER DREYMON CAST IN SCORPIONS BIOPIC
Their timeless hit has over one billion views on You Tube and now Scorpions are getting a biopic WIND OF CHANGE with Alexander Dreymon as guitarist Rudolf Schenker, Ludwig Trepte as Klaus Meine, Ed Speleers as Matthias Jab and Luke Brandon Field as the drummer Herman Rarebell. Dominic West will play their manager, Doc McGhee, and
David Kross will star as Andrej, the band’s imprisoned friend on the other side of the Berlin wall. At the heart of the film is their iconic anthem “Wind of Change,” which became the soundtrack to the end of the Cold War, symbolizing hope, peace and unity. Through their music, with hits ranging from “Rock You Like a Hurricane” to “Still Loving You,” the Scorpions helped bridge the divide between East and West.

I love the Scorpions. I used to have all their cassettes and then CD's back when I had a Walkman and then a Discman. lol I still listen to them, they have good music.
ReplyDeleteThey are one of the best bands ever, their songs especially Still Loving You is my fave to hear in the Voice competitions around the world and usually the best candidates choose to sing it because it has such amazing vocal parts.
DeleteFelizmente que há trechos musicais que podem fazer unir as pessoas.

They certainly did unite the people from all over the world with their music even though they were a German band.
DeleteLike Mary, I'd have them on repeat on my cassette player. I am going to have to put them on my Apple Music playlist. It's been years since I've listened to their music, but I know I'll still love it now as much as I did back then.
ReplyDeleteSearch for Still Loving You renditions on The Voice competitions around the world over at YouTube. German and Russian especially.
DeleteGenial , te mando un beso.

DeleteUn film che racconta con delicatezza la forza invisibile dei mutamenti interiori e sociali.
ReplyDeleteBuona domenica
We did love and still love their music
Deleteso in the 60s Daniel Molloy was not only a bright reporter with a point of view but a musician too, did Armand know about it?
ReplyDeleteHow are Molloy and Armand connected with this, I do not follow?
DeleteCool! Can't wait to watch this. There ain't many good German rock bands, but this one is pretty good.
