  2. We usually have beautiful princesses, and strong, influential women. Here's one (norwegian) who's both: beautiful and influential. She got american president Rooswelt to enter WW2 and thus save her country.

The plot sounds interesting as it is based on a true story and has Rooswelt as key figure in it.

    Love the posters!

  3. I do think this sounds quite interesting. Probably not the WW2 kind of movie Jason would watch with me, but one I am sure I will enjoy by myself, all the same.

    1. yes, no fighting in it. I must dig out some new WW2 movies for Jason, I've noticed mother Russia will have a few new ones this year... one is set in Siberia, but I forgot the title. I raked all the movies that will come out this year in Russia, France, Spain, Italy searching for historical ones, and it will be a very very poor selection this year, epic TV series too :( I've no idea what will I write about I already have lack of material every day :(

    2. It has seemed pretty dismal as far as television and movies are concerned this year. Bad for you, but might give me some time to catch up on some I've had on the back burner.

    3. PS, took the kiddies to see Dumbo today. It was not dark or scary, what you would expect from a Burton film. There wasn't horrible cruelty to the cute little elephants either. Took one of Allison's friends along too, who is super emotional, and she didn't cry once. I think you might enjoy it.

    4. I still ain't watching, that story generally gives me creeps.... just seeing lil' Dumbo in that scary spooky costume freaks me out terribly. It did flop majestically at the box office and not just in USA but also worldwide. I think people are tired of Burton's visuals, all of his films look the same, and the cast was just terrible, Eva Green in a movie for kiddies? And Farrell, famous for his dick photos? Not a cast for kids.

    5. It just opened here in the US not even a week ago and it's already #1 with over $53 million in ticket sales. We went to the 9am showing and it was packed, which is odd for an early morning Wednesday showing.
Farrell has some dick pics you say? How did I miss this scandal? Then again, I guess it would be more shocking to hear about who doesn't have nudes online from the Hollywood crowd these days. They sure aren't ashamed of their naughty bits, are they?

    6. Yes, but Disney usually makes closer to $100 million in the opening weekend. It opened only with $70 million around the world which is also a very low sum for Disney.
He does, you can find his video, flopping his willy on most porn sites LOL You remember that back in his days he used it to shag Elizabeth Taylor, right? What a strange combo, she was like 100 years older than him LOL

  4. There was a rumor running around Washington then that Princess Martha and FDR were more than friends. I wonder if those rumors will be part of the plot. After watching The King's Choice (about Princess Martha's father in law, King Haakon, and how he stood up to the Nazis, I am dying to hear more about that family.
