Here's an upcoming new television series rounding up a rather impressive and charismatic cast with a unique twist in the plot! Just hunking up the already gorgeous and beautiful ensemble of actors in ZOOBI- QUITY series lead by stunning Kim Raver and seductive Peter Facinelli, is dashing Ben Rappaport! 

CROSS SPECIES MEDICINE  
Fox's light medical series, coming from BONES producers, based on the best selling book by Dr. Barbara Natterson Horowitz and Kathryn Bowers, will follow the unlikely pairing of Dr. Kara Martins (Marsha Thomason), a successful, driven cardiologist as she risks career suicide by teaming with Dr. Lucas Cort (Peter Facinelli), a brilliant, socially challenged veterinarian who relates better to animals than people. They try to put aside their competitive natures to cure the incurable using a unique blend of cross species medicine that’s never been tried before.

Kim Raver will play Dr. Julia Fowler, the chief of medicine at Chicago Hospital, the part originally male in the book. Ben Rappaport will play Dr. Henry Lowe, a cardiology resident. Ambitious and always concerned with doing the right thing for his career, he surprisingly bends hospital rules. 

DISNEY TO ADAPT

'CHRONICLES OF PRYDAIN' 
In the news coming from Disney, beside the info that the work on the FROZEN 2 script is well under way, 'Variety' reports that they have acquired movie rights on CHRONICLES OF PRYDAIN fantasy novels from Lloyd Alexander which, two decades ago, were the basis of their BLACK CAULDRON animated movie. The saga follows young Taran from youth to maturity, an assistant pig keeper who dreams of being a grand hero. Set in the magical land of Prydain, which resembles ancient Wales the story sees him engaged in a series of battles with Annuvin, the Land of Death. Other key characters are the young princess Eilonwy, the bard Fflewddur Fflam and a wild creature named Gurgi.

'ME & MEAN MARGARET'

In other television news, NBC has finally found a young man who will star opposite legendary Stockard Channing in the pilot for their new multi camera sitcom ME AND MEAN MARGARET! Handsome ALLEGIANCE star Gavin Stenhouse will lead  an unlikely buddy comedy that follows Margaret (Channing), a fiercely candid and often offensive legendary actress, and Ben (Stenhouse), the ambitious 27 year-old lawyer forced to babysit her. Naturally conciliatory but not a doormat (entirely), Ben is a nice, responsible lawyer who accepts his latest assignment as the legal conservator/ babysitter for the notoriously mean and mischievous former actress Margaret Manley (Channing), but quickly realizes it’s more than he bargained for. She falls in love with a free wheeling man (Joshua Sasse), who lives life to the fullest because he believes the apocalypse is imminent, leading to comedic and poignant results as they embark on a quest together to fulfil their individual bucket lists!

Set in 1880 TRANSYL- VANIA centres on Victoria (Laura Brent), a headstrong young woman in search of her missing father who ventures from NYC to Transylvania where she teams up with a wrongfully disgraced Scotland Yard Detective (Luke Allen Gale), and together they witness the births of the most famous monsters and villains in history.

I've recently asked myself where has Jane Seymour disappeared but it seems she's coming back! She has joined British Sky 1's epic adventure series HOOTEN & THE LADY in which Michael Landes and Ophelia Lovibond play the title pair as they track down fabled treasures from the past, including the lost Amazonian golden city of Z, the Buddha's missing scroll and the lost tomb of Alexander the Great! The 8 part series will see Seymour playing  Lady Tabitha the fun and daring mother of Lady Alexandra, while Jessica  Hynes and Shaun Parkes are playing Lady Alexandra's colleagues from the British Museum.

The story is told through the personal accounts of the four women known as the “Colored Computers,” and their accomplishment is set against the background of the Jim Crow South and the civil rights movement.

Sam Neill will be Eli, the charismatic patriarch of the McCullough family who was kidnapped as a child and raised among the Comanche tribe and applies the brutal Comanche world view to his business dealings. Zahn McClarnon is Toshaway, a Comanche war chief who captures young Eli and becomes his father figure. Paola Nunez will play the last member of the wealthy Spanish aristocracy in South Texas, a college educated woman ahead of her time.

It seems Christopher Nolan is planning a WAR AND PEACE reunion for our dearest Jack Lowden and his colleague from the Russian saga Aneurin Barnard since they're both in talks for WW2 epic movie DUNKIRK! 'Deadline' reports that Lowden is up for one of two lead roles together with newcomer Fionn White head. This massive action adventure project will deal with the World War II evacuation of Dunkirk which took place from May till June 1940, a British military operation that saved some 330,000 Allied soldiers trapped in the harbour and surrounded by the German army. While most other roles will be cast among unknowns, the cast will also include three major names Oscar winners Kenneth Branagh and Mark Rylance and Tom Hardy!

Princess Aurora wakes up to the kiss of a handsome prince one hundred years after falling asleep to find her family long dead and her kingdom taken from her. In today's TV news, another of the series pilots we're looking forward too has found its lead stars. As 'Deadline' reports ABC's historical drama STILL STAR CROSSED will be lead by British actress Lashana Lynch and Wade Briggs, and will also star Zuleikha Robinson as Lady Capulet. Meanwhile, Torrance Coombs is leaving REIGN to play Count Paris of Mantua in this one. Based on the book by Melinda Traub it will be set in 16th century Verona picking up where William Shakespeare’s ROMEO AND JULIET left off. It charts the treachery, palace intrigue and ill-fated romances of the Montagues and Capulets in the wake of the young lovers’ tragic fate.

ILL FATED LOVERS  
The story centres on Rosaline (Lashana Lynch), a gorgeous, intelligent and headstrong Capulet and Juliet’s cousin. Following the death of her parents, she is taken in by her aunt and uncle, Juliet’s parents Lady (Zyleikha Robinson) and Lord Capulet, and forced to work as a servant. She does her best to tolerate her aunt’s cruelty, and focuses on finding a way to free herself of the humiliation. She is eventually ordered to marry Benvolio (Wade Briggs), a Montague.
