You remember how the first trailer for one of this year's biggest adventures left us stunned last November? Now the second one for THE HUNTSMAN: WINTER'S WAR has been released and it is all kinds of massive! I don't think I've ever seen a trailer more epic! The movie is out this April!

Long before the evil Queen Ravenna (Charlize Theron) was thought vanquished by Snow White's blade, she watched silently as her sister, Freya (Emily Blunt), suffered a heartbreaking betrayal and fled their kingdom. Speaking of epic things, Starz has announced today that one of their most popular shows OUTLANDER will return with the second season on Saturday April 9th! Based on Diana Gabaldon's second book from OUTLANDER saga 'Dragonfly In Amber' the 13 episode season will see Scottish warrior Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and his adulteress wife Claire (Caitriona Balfe) rocking some lavish French fashion as you can see them on the steps of the royal court in Versailles in the first promo poster! Instead of swords and guns, they’re armed with political savvy in the 1700s Paris as they embark on their new mission: infiltrating the French aristocracy and rewriting history after they arrive in France, hellbent on infiltrating the Jacobite rebellion led by Prince Charles Stuart, and stopping the battle of Culloden.

Tons of TV news, starting with our dearest Richard Rankin (CRIMSON FIELD) joining the Paris set second season of OUTLANDER epic series. He will play Roger Wakefield, the Reverend Wakefield’s adopted son., who is intelligent, kind hearted and charming, raised by the pastor after his parents died in World War II. When we meet him, he is a professor at Oxford who is very interested in history. Lionel Lingelser will play King Louis XV while Stanley Weber will appear as Le Comte St. Germain!

'VICTORIA' EPIC SERIES

Meanwhile, another epic series, ITV's eight episode historical saga VICTORIA on the infamous British monarch has finally found the queen's husband! Mesmerizing Tom Hughes will play Prince Albert next to Jenna Coleman's VICTORIA in the series which will depict her early rule. The cast also includes actor Rufus Sewell as Lord Melbourne, Victoria's first prime minister, an intimate friendship which caused much gossip. Alex Jennings will portray King Leopold I of Belgium, uncle to Victoria and Albert, responsible for their marriage.

The first trailer has also been released today for the new instalment of the animated saga ICE AGE: COLLISION COURSE which will hit cinemas next July! Scrat’s epic pursuit of the elusive acorn catapults him into the universe where he accidentally sets off a series of cosmic events that transform and threaten the Ice Age World. To save themselves, Sid, Manny, Diego, and the rest of the herd must leave their home and embark on a quest full of comedy and adventure, travelling to exotic new lands and encountering a host of colourful new characters.

Another adventure Eddie Redmayne's new fantasy movie out next November FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM has also got its teaser trailer today. Eddie Redmayne stars as Newt Scamander, the wizarding world’s preeminent magizoologist, who stops in New York following his travels to find and document magical creatures. But a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt's fantastic beasts could spell trouble for the wizarding world!

A treat for all you lovers of epic stuff - Starz has released the first trailer for the second season of their popular historical series OUTLANDER based on Diana Gabaldon's bestselling saga. The epic drama returns to the small screens in spring next year with Scottish warrior Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and his flimsy adulteress wife Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe) leaving Scotland to escape the tragic events that happened to them and going over to the 18th century France to seek help in their fight to win freedom for Jamie's homeland and stop the battle at Culloden.

Judging from the trailer, the second run of OUTLANDER will bring us many glitzy settings at lavish palaces and courts of Paris, with silk swirling all around in many magnificent colourful costumes and gowns. As I reported before a number of stars has joined the new season with Stanley Weber playing Comte St Germain the main rival of Jamie's cousin who is the leading wine seller in France. Lionel Lingelser will wear the crown as King Louis XV with whom Jamie and Claire will cross paths trying to get money in order to support the Jacobite rebellion. VICIOUS star Frances de la Tour will play Mother Hildegarde, woman who comes from an aristocratic and well-connected family. When Claire begins volunteering at L'Hopital des Anges, she encounters and soon earns the respect of Mother Hildegarde. Andrew Gower will be Prince Charles Stuart who wants the throne, while Margaux Chatelier will play an old flame of Jamie's.

New pics have also been released for a classic drama with an unexpected twist - PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES which arrives into cinemas next Valentines turning Austen's dull love lemonade into something more apocalyptic. Lily James will portray Lizzy, who has become romantically entangled with Mr. Darcy (Sam Riley). Sadly, their love will be challenged by zombie virus in which the 'sorry stricken' (aka zombies) are rising from the grave to cause Victorian zombie mess. The victims of this mysterious plague have been roaming around for the past 70 years, and it's up to Lizzy, her sisters, and her lover to stop the madness! Douglas Booth, Matt Smith and Jack Huston also star.

Well, that would certainly be a match of two seriously pompous and arrogant egos :) According to brand new and sizzling hot Tinseltown rumours, Marvel is currently courting Angelina Jolie as potential director and Charlize Theron as the lead star in their CAPTAIN MARVEL big screen movie which is already scheduled to bring the female superhero to the cinemas in November 2018! Apparently, Jolie would accept the helm if Theron gets the role since, as of late, the two of them have been friends privately. The studio wants a female director for the movie, the same as DC wants a lady helmer for their WONDER WOMAN film. CAPTAIN MARVEL is American Air Force chief of security who survives an explosion and becomes a super heroine with extreme strength and the ability to fly. 

'OUTLANDER' 2ND SEASON

STANLEY WEBER AND ROBERT CAVANAH JOIN THE CAST
Good news for all the ladies who seemed to love the first season of Starz' epic TV series OUTLANDER based on Diana Gabaldon's bestselling novels. The first additions to the cast in the second season have been announced. As 'Digital Spy' reports BORGIA superhunk Stanley Weber and Robert Cavanah have joined the show which has ended its first run this weekend turning from a rather monotonous and chaotic show with weak chemistry between the lead stars into a desperate parade of brutality, sex and blood. Robert Cavanah has been cast as Jamie Fraser's cousin Jared, who is a leading wine seller in France. Jamie and Claire will stay with Jared while they are in France trying to stop the Jacobite rebellion from ravaging Scotland. An encounter with Jared's chief competitor Le Comte St Germain (Stanley Weber) will lead to a new conflict for Claire.
