Warner Bros. and DC have released colourful new character posters for this year's biggest superhero flick JUSTICE LEAGUE  that will assemble DC's biggest superheroes in cinemas this November directed by Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon who finished the film but won't be credited as the director.

Last night's Golden Globes were as silly as always, fashion included. I've never seen such an amount of horrid gowns! Whom did you like best at the red carpet? We thought style icon Blake Lively was stunning in her Versace dress, the same designer worn by Naomi Campbell as well. Mandy Moore and Lily Collins, in Zuhair Murad, were graceful and elven, while Brie Larson looked glamorous in fiery red. We've also seen Gwendoline Christie looking swell for the first time ever at a gala!

EW has revealed a new photo featuring Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, Ben Affleck's Batman an Ezra Miller's The Flash whom you've already seen together in the first trailer for JUSTICE LEAGUE movie which should arrive into theatres next November after WONDER WOMAN goes out solo this June. The Flash is also getting his own movie, while Affleck's Batman movie has been pushed again into a far away future.

  'TRAVELERS' TRAILER

Meanwhile, Netflix has released the first trailer for their new science fiction series TRAVELERS which will bow its 12 episodes globally from December 23rd! It stars Eric McCormack in the lead role with MacKenzie Porter, Patrick Gilmore, Jared Abrahamson and Reilly Dolman.

TRAVELLING THROUGH TIME 
Hundreds of years from now, the last surviving humans discover the means of sending consciousness back through time, directly into people in the 21st century. These "travelers" assume the lives of random people at the exact moment that they die (known by the people from the future), then secretly work as teams to perform missions in order to save humanity from a terrible future. The series is already airing on Showcase in Canada.

ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY

FINAL TRAILER RELEASED!

Of course, the main news for most movie goers today is the reveal of the final ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY trailer and poster! Starring Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen and Alan Tyduk, the sf adventure, set in a time of cosmic unrest, will see them playing a group of unlikely heroes who band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire's ultimate weapon of destruction. This prequel which explains how the Rebels got the plans of Death Star, hits cinemas this December and hopefully won't be as dreadfully boring as The Force Awakens (it made us sleep, it did).

In other sf news, the first look of Amber Heard as Mera the queen of Atlantis from JUSTICE LEAGUE movie has been revealed. That one is out November next year, but she will also appear in AQUAMAN with Jason Momoa as his royal wife in the summer 2018.

STUNNING FIRST TRAILER!

Oh, my, do I have some mindblowing fresh trailers from the Comic Con for you today! And they're almost all stunning and amazing. DC is, of course, dominating especially with the marvellous first trailer for WONDER WOMAN movie in which Gal Gadot is wielding her lasso of truth while trying to save Chris Pine from the battles of War World One. As you can see from the amazing trailer the fight scenes are really well done and Gal seems to have the necessary charisma. The trailer also shows stunning sets from the land of the Amazonians ruled by their queen played by Connie Nielsen. The movie is out next June!

ASSEMBLES DC'S HEROES 
Wonder Woman also appears in the first trailer which gathers all of DC's leading super heroes in one place - JUSTICE LEAGUE which is still shooting! I can't say I liked the trailer, too much horrid Ben Affleck for my taste, but it also shows Ezra Miller as The Flash and Jason Momoa as Aquaman! Amy Adams, Henry Cavill and Jeremy Irons also star. The movie is out November next year.

  JUDE LAW RULES FIRST

'KING ARTHUR: LEGEND OF THE SWORD' TRAILER

An equal mix of like and dislike for me in the first trailer for Guy Richie's retelling of the Camelot legends in KING ARTHUR: LEGEND OF THE SWORD. I did like the look of it, it looks rather stunning, Jude Law seems magnetic as the main villain Vortigern who steals the crown from Arthur. But I just can't get into Charlie Hunnam playing the character as if it is some modern day street thug with nothing medieval in it. Out next March it will also see Eric Bana playing Uther Pendragon, Arthur's father murdered by Vortigern, Astrid Bergès Frisbey as Guinevere and Djimon Hounsou as Sir Bedivere.

  'STAR TREK: DISCOVERY'

LAUNCHES FIRST TEASER
And something from the small screens: CBS has revealed the first purely teasing teaser for new STAR TREK TV series which will be titled STAR TREK: DISCOVERY showing the launch of the new Star Fleet Ship Discovery. The cast is yet to be announced for the sf series that starts next January! It will have one season story, it won't be episodic and will probably be set before or around the original series.

THE FIRST FOOTAGE REVEALED

A thrilling clip has been released today at CW showing the very first and very exciting footage from DC's WONDER WOMAN movie showing Gal Gadot as princess Diana of the Amazonians and also Chris Pine as her love interest Steve Trevor! It also shows WONDER WOMAN in some fight action and the two of them in the First World War days.

JUSTICE LEAGUE PROMO ART
Currently in production, the movie scheduled for summer 2017 will probably have three settings from WONDER WOMAN's homeland of Themyscira, ruled by her mother Hippolyta queen of the Amazons (Connie Nielsen), to the World War One setting with Steve Trevor, and a modern day setting. Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya also star. There are also rumours that Sean Bean might be portraying the lead villain in the movie. Only a day ago first promo art has also been released for JUSTICE LEAGUE movie in which Wonder Woman will appear just a few months after in November together with Superman (Henry Cavill), The Flash (Ezra Miller), Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Cyborg with Green Lantern curiously missing from the photo.

'ALTERED CARBON' 

TO BECOME NETFLIX SERIES

Speaking of things epic, 'Deadline' reports today that Netflix will make a small screen adaptation of ALTERED CARBON sf saga turning it into futuristic cyberpunk TV series with AVATAR's Laeta Kalogridis producing. The story is set in the 25th century when the human mind has been digitized and the soul itself is transferable from one body to the next. Takeshi Kovacs, a former elite interstellar warrior known as an Envoy who has been imprisoned for 500 years, is downloaded into a future he’d tried to stop. If he can solve a single murder in a world where technology has made death nearly obsolete, he’ll get a chance at a new life on Earth.
