NEW 2015 SITCOMS ORDERED INTO SERIES: NBC'S 'PEOPLE ARE TALKING' WITH MARK PAUL GOSSELAAR, 'SUPERSTORE' WITH BEN FELDMAN, ABC'S 'REAL O'NEALS' & 'UNCLE BUCK', FOX'S 'GRANDFATHERED' WITH JOHN STAMOS, 'GRINDER' WITH ROB LOWE

NBC'S 'PEOPLE ARE TALKING'
 WITH MARK PAUL GOSSELAAR
It's that time of the year when networks are ordering new projects into series, so today I'm presenting you with some of the comedy shows that have been greenlit so far! First off with dashing Mark Paul Gosselaar whose sitcom PEOPLE ARE TALKING has been ordered by NBC. He, Meaghan Rath, Tone Bell and Bresha Webb will play two couples, best friends and neighbours. The sometime neurotic couples can't help but over-analyse every facet of their lives, from race to sex and beyond. The sitcom will air on Friday Evenings following UNDATEABLE all live 3rd season episodes.

NBC OPENS UP A 'SUPERSTORE'
BEN FELDMAN, AMERICA FERRERA
NBC has also picked up SUPERSTORE sitcom with America Ferrera and Ben Feldman about a unique family of employees at a super-sized megastore. From the bright-eyed newbies and the seen-it-all veterans to the clueless summer hires and in-it-for-life managers, together they hilariously tackle the day-to-day grind of rabid bargain hunters, riot-causing sales and nap-worthy training sessions.

ABC'S 'REAL O'NEALS'
BEING GAY, BEING REAL
ABC has ordered  REAL O'NEALS, about a seemingly perfect Catholic family, whose lives take an unexpected turn when when their son comes out as gay. Instead of ruining their family, the honesty triggers a new chapter where everyone stops pretending to be perfect and actually starts being real. Martha Plimpton, Jay R. Ferguson and Noah Galvin lead the cast.

'UNCLE BUCK' BRINGS LUCK
They've also ordered UNCLE BUCK (Mike Epps), a fun loving but irresponsible guy who needs a job and a place to stay. By happy coincidence, his nieces and nephew’s Nanny has just quit and his brother needs his help. His unconventional personality just may make him the right fit for the family and they may be the answer to his problems, too. James Lesure and Nia Long also star.

'GRANDFATHERED' AT FOX
WITH JOHN STAMOS
Fox has picked up GRANDFATHERED for series. John Stamos is playing a version of himself: a charismatic longtime bachelor whose life is upended when he discovers he’s a father — and a grandfather. THE OFFICE's Danny Chun is writing the script.

'GRINDER' AT FOX
ROBIN LOWE AND FRED SAVAGE
Another 80's star Rob Lowe will also have his sitcom at Fox. GRINDER will see him play a beloved TV lawyer while Fred Savage will play his brother. When his long-running hit series comes to an end, he finds himself at a crossroads in life and decides to move back to his small home town, thinking he has the experience to take over his family’s law firm.

2015 SITCOM PILOTS: EDDIE CIBRIAN, DONALD FAISON, JOSH HOPKINS IN MONICA POTTER'S SITCOM! JOSH PECK IN JOHN STAMOS' FOX SITCOM! SKYLAR ASTIN IN ABC'S NBA SITCOM! THOMAS SADOSKI, COLIN HANKS, DIANNE WIEST IN 'LIFE IN PIECES'

MONICA POTTER'S SITCOM
EDDIE CIBRIAN, DONALD FAISON, JOSH HOPKINS AS EX HUSBANDS
We're in the middle of the casting season for future comedy pilots (the first episodes of possible new sitcoms) and the spy is bringing you the latest updates today on the stars who will take the roles in them. Definitely the most starstudded of them will be NBC's multi camera pilot (multi camera means with audience and laughter, single camera being without it) which is still untitled but I informed you previously that it will star Monica Potter as Bridget, a woman who juggles her busy family life as well as her three ex husbands, which proves to be difficult when she starts dating again. The names of her three husbands have been revealed: Eddie Cibrian will play Jason, Bridget’s first ex husband, a slick professional gambler. Donald Faison plays Bridget’s second ex husband, the very earnest Kevin, who is positive and upbeat at all times, and a staunch protector of the environment who is also “accidentally” extremely wealthy. Rory Scovel plays Robert, Bridget’s third ex husband. A pompous writer and college professor, Robert went to Harvard and can’t wait to let everyone know it. Josh Hopkins plays Tom, a veterinarian in the midst of mutual attraction with Bridget, an animal lover.

JOHN STAMOS' FOX SITCOM
CASTS JOSH PECK AS HIS SON
When it comes to Fox, according to 'Deadline', they have hired Josh Peck to lead the untitled new sitcom with John Stamos who plays Jimmy, a charismatic longtime bachelor whose life is upended when he discovers he’s a father — and a grandfather. Josh Peck will be the son Jimmy didn’t know he had – a sweet unemployed techie who is himself the proud and surprisingly capable father of a two-year-old daughter, the product of a one-night stand with the sexy Vanessa.

ABC'S NBA SITCOM PILOT
CASTS SKYLAR ASTIN AS LEAD
Another untitled comedy pilot, but at ABC, has cast Skylar Astin whose previous sitcom GROUND FLOOR has been cancelled. The new sitcom will be an NBA buddy comedy about an NBA rookie who doesn’t speak English and a translator who doesn’t speak basketball. Skylar Astin is the translator, Jason, a sweet and a little wimpy guy with no athletic prowess who is working as a teaching assistant and living in his parents’ basement when he is recruited by the NBA team. A munchkin among giants in the world of professional basketball, Jason soon discovers that he’s being paid to be a lot more than just a translator. He also must be the new player’s 24/7 guide, best friend, mentor and protector, and he also has to find a way to light a fire under this incredibly tall and talented athlete who seems to lack drive.

CBS'S 'LIFE IN PIECES' PILOT
THOMAS SADOSKI, COLIN HANKS, DIANNE WIEST, BETSY BRANDT
Over at CBS, one of their strongest new comedy pilots is LIFE IN PIECES about one family, the Shorts, as told through the separate stories of its different family members. Thomas Sadoski (THE NEWS ROOM) plays middle sibling Matt Short who can’t catch a break, the most recent being a failed career that has forced him back home with his parents. Colin Hanks and Betsy Brandt will play the other two siblings, while legendary Dianne Wiest will appear as their mother who adores her family and would do absolutely anything for them — as long she agrees with it. Zoe Lister Jones (FRIENDS WITH BETTER LIVES) plays Greg Short’s (Hanks) wife Jen, a woman used to being in control who now has a baby and finds for the first time she’s not.. Angelique Cabral (ENLISTED) will be Colleen, the woman Matt has just fallen in love with who is stuck in a messy breakup with her ex-fiancĂ©.
