Netflix has released a teaser for their new supernatural series TIDELANDS which will be launched globally December 14th as their first Australian original drama. The eight part series about mermaids, coming from Secrets & Lies‘ Stephen M Irwin, stars Chris Hemsworth's wife Elsa Pataky, Charlotte Best, Spartacus and Shannara star Aaron Jakubenko, Dustin Clare, Marco Pigossi and Will's Mattias Inwood.

The sf adventure in which humans use massive robot fighters to defend themselves from alien invasion is scheduled for next March.
