Channel 5 has, back in January, if you remember, announced a mini TV series adaptation of Graham Norton's book FOREVER HOME and the
cast which includes tons of British small screen names such as Amy Nuttall, Douglas Henshall, Denise Welch, Kevin Whately, Samantha Bond,
Lewis Cope, Jenny Walser, Shane Zaza and James Baxter, and now we have the first images from the new series which will air sometime later this year.

of a second wife dealing with the memories of the woman
who went before her! When her older partner Robert's dementia worsens,
Carol Crottie starts
to wonder if the reason he won’t leave his home has
something to do with the whereabouts of his first wife, who ran off
with Robert’s brother 20 years ago,
leaving behind their two young
children Kaden and Sally. When Carol discovers a long-dead body hidden
in
the basement of her home, the horrific
realisation is undeniable – she's
living with a killer. The story that her husband's first wife ran away
never to be seen again now looks like a lie, and
the fact he’s insisted
on never selling the house suddenly makes sense. But one dark family
secret is soon to be replaced by another.

DeleteSeeing those first-look images for Graham Norton's Forever Home adaptation gives me absolute chills! Uncovering a hidden body in the basement after a partner's dementia worsens sets up such a deliciously dark, twisty mystery, plus that stellar cast featuring Denise Welch alongside Douglas Henshall guarantees it will be an incredible watch later this year.

DeleteDead bodies in the basement would make it difficult to put the house up for sale. Nobody wants a house someone died in.
