comedy drama movie will come from director Terry Loane who has cast
Dianne Wiest and Ciaran Hinds in THIS OLD LOVE OF MINE. They play Harry
and Margo Bannon whose happy retirement in a quiet country town is
upended when Harry discovers a letter revealing that
Margo had an affair
early in their marriage. Without discussion, he files for divorce and
summons their three grown children home, igniting old resentments, fresh
turmoil and local gossip. As a DNA test threatens to shatter everything
they thought they knew, the Bannons are forced to confront what truly
makes a family: blood, loyalty, or a lifetime of messy, enduring love.

I haven't heard of Patrick Schwarzenegger, but I know Arnold Schwarzenegger.
ReplyDeleteHe is one of his sons, very nice young man and a nice actor, also very polite, he actually tweeted one of our posts about him last year.

DeleteYou do now, he is a very nice young man and his relationship with Arnold is interesting because he was a very just but also strict father, and had strict rules when they were growing up, very interesting to read them talk about it.

DeleteI do think many times growing up means growing apart. I no longer have the same friends that I had even just 7 or 8 years ago. I have one friend from that time period left, and even that has been waning the last year or two with her move 10 hours away. Life ebbs and flows and it's wild to think that you'll have the same people who aren't family along for the ride the entire time.

DeleteYes, but you and I go in spurts as we always have. Some years we have a lot to say, others we're both just so immersed in work there really isn't much to talk about. I have a few people in my life like that. The wedding I am going to next month, we've been friends since we were 10 years old. There have been years we couldn't be separated, then we'd go 3 or 4 years with no contact because life was just so busy for us both. But we always pick right back up like no time has passed. I haven't seen my California cousin since 2019 but she made it to Indiana this summer and was like "I swear, it feels like no time has passed when we get together." I think that's the way it will always be with you and I as well. We're like 12 years into this friendship and even now there are times I'm like "oooh, gotta remember to tell this to Dezzy!" I don't even do that with my best friend who moved away anymore. Probably because we've always have that online relationship and you've been a constant over the years.
