WHEN IN ROME
TO BE TURNED INTO MGM + TV SERIES
The latest book to TV series adaptation announced over at MGM + is for Sarah Adams' popular WHEN IN ROME book series! It follows
Amelia Rose, known as Rae Rose to her adoring fanbase. Amelia is burnt out after maintaining her celebrity “priness of pop” status, so she drives off in the middle of the night to take a vacation to Rome, not the Italian capital but the small city in Kentucky. The inspiration comes from her favorite Audrey Hepburn film, Roman Holiday. There, her car breaks down, sending her to the front lawn of Noah Walker, who immediately makes it clear that he doesn’t sympathize with celebrities or their champagne problems. The baker, who inherited a pie shop from his grandmother, lets the stranded pop star stay in his guest room, but only until she gets her car fixed, or so readers are led to believe.

Definitely NOT for me..I am out for those silly romance movies.
ReplyDeleteThis one is very popular, I have to read this one for my publisher this summer, will pick it up next week from the bookstore where the editor has left it for me.
DeleteI don't like romance movies, either. I do like the illustration, Dezmond.
ReplyDeleteThere is lot of cooking and baking in it, though.
DeleteDEZMOND, I 'd like to read Sarah Adams' books.
ReplyDeleteThey are very popular, my publisher is releasing this one this week, I will read it next week.
DeleteI have yet to find a good looking man from Kentucky lol. However, I did find a house there that I am DYING to buy. Alas, I am still a little ways away from being able to pack up and move out of Indiana.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering what was happening with that dream of yours, it seemed you were ready to move years ago LOL
DeleteWe were waiting for the girls to finish school, then stupid covid hit and messed up the housing market here. The interest rate on our house is at 2.3% locked in. If we were to refinance now on a new home, we'd be paying an extra $21,000 in interest alone since it's jumped to 6.5%. So, we're waiting for the housing market to shift in our favor. I really wish we would have made the leap in 2019 because houses in the south are 4x higher than what they were back then.
DeleteIt is terrible here as well since the dictator, back fifteen years ago you could buy a flat in my city for 300 euro per square meter, now you cannot buy it for less than 2.000 euro per square meter, which means that nobody can buy them except mobsters and crooks and yet they are building new flats everywhere without licenses and plans.
DeleteOur city used to be the same. You could rent a nice apartment for $600 to $700 a month. Now those same apartments are $2000 a month. It's criminal.
DeleteThe world is truly disgusting right now.
