SCARGIVER, the finale to the two part saga that will arrive April 19th!

  Sofia Boutella returns as Kora , who’s discovered a quiet life and community on a farming moon called Veldt. She’s left behind her life of fighting against the Imperium, the evil intergalactic royal empire with a mission to control the entire galaxy. Kora’s new life is tragically interrupted and she’s thrust back into war when the menacing Atticus Noble (Ed Skrein) visits her planet on behalf of the Imperium’s leader, Balisarius (Fra Fee). Kora recruits a band of fighters, including Gunnar (Michiel Huisman), Kai (Charlie Hunnam) and a  robot Jimmy (voiced by Anthony Hopkins), to lead her resistance. As you can see in the new trailer Kora is now preparing her new army for the battle.

Crime) is a period set comedy crime movie directed and written by famous French director Francois Ozon and is a loose adaptation of the famous play. It boasts quite a stellar cast lead by Isabelle Huppert and Nadia Tereszkiewicz alongside Rebecca Marder. 

 

THE STORY IS SET
in Paris, France, 1935. With a wide assortment of debt collectors lining up at her door, struggling actress Madeleine Verdier is with her back to the wall. But life is full of surprises. And then, for no apparent reason, someone puts a bullet in the head of the lascivious French producer, Montferrand. As a result, as if the cruel hardships of poverty weren't enough, the penniless artist now stands accused of murdering one of the city's most famous residents. Luckily, Madeleine's roommate Pauline Mauléon happens to be a lawyer. Of course, the prime suspect claims to be innocent; however, the truth is in the eye of the beholder. What happens if the producer's shocking murder isn't Madeleine's crime?

New Onegin is out March 7th next year

Beside the news that HBO has officially renewed their costume drama Gilded  Age for third season, your other period set delight this festive weekend is the first trailer for the brand new movie adaptation of legendary Pushkin's novel ONEGIN which is arriving into Russian cinemas March next year. Viktor Dobronravov will appear in the lead role as Evgeny Onegin, Elizaveta Moryak will appear as Tatyana Larina, and Denis Prytkov will play Vladimir Lensky. The novel was previously adapted back in 1998 by Martha Fiennes with Ralph Fiennes, Liv Tyler and Toby Stevens in the lead roles. This new version was done under Sarik Andreasyan's helm!   OUR HERO EVGENY ONEGIN

 lives in grand style: balls, receptions, theater premieres and other entertainment that the capital can offer a young man. But social life has long tired him, so he perceives the news of the illness of his uncle living in the village as an opportunity to escape from the disgusting world. He arrives in the village, but finds his uncle already dead. However, the news of the death of a relative does not upset Evgeny much. His financial affairs are very sad, and his uncle is rich and has no other heirs besides Evgeny. Evgeny locks himself in the estate, avoids his neighbors, who very soon begin to call him an eccentric among themselves. He lives in aimless solitude until the owner, who has returned from abroad, appears at the neighboring estate - a young, enthusiastic Lensky, not satiated with life... And later on Evgeny's heart will be broken by gorgeous Tatyana and they will become world literature's most legendary lovers after Romeo and Juliet!

THE SERIES FOLLOWS
 the pursuits of Jan Paweł Adamczewski (Bartlomiej Topa), the Sarmatian head of a noble family in Adamczycha in the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth during the 17th century. This zany nobleman contends with family feuds and clashes with peasants in his quest to become the most famous person in Poland. The series has eight half hour episodes. I have yet another fairy tale movie trailer coming from Russia for you today, I already shared first photos from it earlier this year featuring young Russian actor Aleksandr Metyolkin, but now we have a new magically enchanting and utterly colourful trailer for lavish fantasy fairy tale adventure movie THE FLYING SHIP (Летучий корабль) directed by Ilya Uchitel which is set to hit their cinemas next March. Beside Metyolkin, this colourful and picturesque movie filled with imaginative sets and wild costumes will also star Andrey Burkovksiy, Leonid Yarmolnik, Kseniya Rappoport and even popular Russian pop star Polina Gagarina. She will play Lady Jane, an original role written specifically for the film adaptation of the popular cartoon based on a folk tale. The new adaptation will feature unforgettable songs by Maxim Dunayevsky and Yuri Entin since it will also have the musical element. With this one, The Bremen Street Musicians and Wish of the Fairy Fish, cinemas will be filled with fairy tales next year.

 

 WHAT IS THE FILM ABOUT?

The Tsar is having his daughter Zabava marry a charmingly handsome and a handsomely charming Paul, a rich heir and a foreign fancy pants. However, it's a bit of a challenge, since Zabava wants a marriage of love, not of calculation. Her unexpected encounter with sailor Ivan, a simpleton yet an honest and endearing guy, messes up Paul's plans of snatching the crown. Deeply in love with the princess, Ivan enlists help from the residents of an enchanted forest to build a Flying Ship which would then take him and his beloved away. The brave sailor is in for serious confrontation with the sneaky Paul, who's using dark magic to bring his unwanted opponent down. However, true love is going to win this battle: with the evil mastermind punished, Ivan and Zabava step aboard the magic Flying Ship and set sail towards a new common dream of theirs. Last May I told you that French superstar Vincent Perez is directing a new historical movie and that December 27th has been announced as the release date for historical adventure THE EDGE OF BLADE

The movie is out during the holidays

( Une affaire d'honneur) in which he also stars and now we have the first trailer! 

 

  The story is set in Paris 1887. At that time, only the duel prevailed to defend one's honor. Clément Lacaze (Roschdy Zem), charismatic fencing master finds himself caught in a spiral of destructive violence. He meets Marie-Rose Astié (Doria Tillier), a feminist ahead of her time, and decides to teach her the complex art of dueling. They will face provocations and unite to defend their respective honor. It will start its rule March 3rd, but Max has given us the trailer for their new mini series THE REGIME which tells the story of one year within the walls of the palace of a modern European regime as it begins to unravel. With the power being in the hands of Kate Winslet as madam chancellor, Matthias Schoenaerts plays her trusted and devoted and obviously psychotic chief of security,  with Guillaume Gallienne, Andrea Riseborough, Martha Plimpton and Hugh Grant also in the cast! The six episode series was directed by Stephen Frears.
