A trailer has been released with Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas as leads in POWER BALLAD musical comedy from John Carney. Shot over in Dublin it follows the story of a wedding singer
(Rudd), a rock star (Jonas), and the song that comes between them. When Rick meets fading boy-band star Danny
during a gig, the two bond over music and a late-night jam session. But when Danny turns one of Rick’s songs into the hit that reignites his career, Rick sets out to reclaim the recognition he believes he deserves – even if it means risking everything he cares about. Jack Reynor also stars in the movie out June 5th in cinemas.

DeleteThis is a comedy? I didn't find any humor in it. It's awful when one steals another's work and claims credit for it. Hopefully the OG songwriter gets compensation in the end.
ReplyDeletePaul Rudd often has such weird humour, as much as he is cute as feck, he also seems extremely immature, like Jack Ass type of immature.
DeleteI agree. He is cute as a button but seems like such a man-child with his immature ways. I wonder if he's like that in real life or if he chooses those jack ass type of roles because they don't require much thought or skill.
DeleteHe is like that in real life, remember all his visits to Graham Norton's show, his stories there are always so immature and irresponsible.
