An extremely exciting trailer has been released for Russian war movie ANGELS OF LADOGA (Ангелы Ладоги) in which you can see sailing ships skating on ice. Out in cinemas April 23rd, it is set in November, at the very beginning of the terrible winter of 1941! As the Nazi siege closes in around Leningrad, a group of young iceboat sailors sets out onto the thin, unformed ice over the lake of Ladoga. A mission to deliver ammunition turns into a rescue operation for orphans from an orphanage who hadn't been evacuated in time. Former regatta rivals must now forge a true team to survive and give hope to everyone else. Tikhon Zhiznevsky, Roman Evdokimov, Ksenia Treister, Viktor Dobronravov, lead the cast of this action packed movie depicting the heroic struggles of Russian people under the German invasion which left million of citizens dead.
