MISSED CALL TV SERIES
FIRST IMAGES WITH JOANNA SCANLAN
Channel 5 has released first images with Joanna Scanlan as the lead star in MISSED CALL TV
series which also has Rupert Graves in its cast.
The five-part thriller, set against the backdrop of a
picturesque French village, follows British single mother Sarah whose daughter
disappears while on a
school exchange trip, soon after attempting a
late-night call to her mom. Despite indifference from local authorities
and the host family, Sarah goes on
a search for her daughter that
spirals into a dangerous race against time. Robert Lindsay, Claire Keim and Francois Xavier Demaison will also star. It will air sometime this April.

DeleteThat's like a parent's worst nightmare. Think you're sending your child to another country for cultural enrichment and learning and they may never come back home. There was a foreign exchange student who was in a car accident and died down the road from my house a few years back. I can't imagine being excited to hear all about their experience when they got home, only to hear they were never going to come back home.
ReplyDeleteAnd I have no idea why anyone would want to send their kids to the US for student exchange these days. With our mass school shootings, even the citizens here don't want to send their kids to school anymore.
Plus all the wokeness in the schools today....
