The Bluff will stream from February 25th

Produced back in spring 2024 down in Australia is historical adventure THE BLUFF which, directed by Frank E. Flowers for Prime Video, is finally ready to stream around the world February 25th and after the first images last week, today we have a trailer as well to prove it. It is interesting that originally Zoe Saldana was supposed to lead the film, before Priyanka Chopra and Karl Urban were cast.Temuera Morrison, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Safia Oakley-Green, and Vedanten Naidoo also star. SET IN THE 19TH CENTURY

Caribbeans, the story follows a former female pirate (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) who must protect her family when the mysterious sins of her past catch up to her. The intention of the movie is to blend visceral action and historical fiction to create a real action vehicle as the heroine fights against the atrocities committed by the pirates. Priyanka plays Ercell Bodden, a former pirate called "Bloody Mary," who left her crew and fled to a "peaceful" island in the Caymans. Now a mother and wife, Ercell is forced to use the violent skills she possessed in her past life to protect her home from lawless pirates, led by Karl Urban as Captain Connor.
