JOINS NEW TIM ALLEN SITCOM AT ABC
ABC has decided to replace the character of Nick, played by Froy Gutierrez, by a completely new character in Tim Allen's upcoming new multicamera sitcom SHIFTING GEARS. Seann William Scott will play Gabriel, a family friend of Matt (Tim Allen) and Riley (Kat Dennings) who works in the shop with Matt. To start shooting next month, it sees Allen
starring as Matt, the stubborn, widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop. When Matt’s estranged daughter, Riley, and her teenage kids move into his house, the real restoration begins. Nick, Matt’s son and Riley’s game coder younger brother, will not be part of the series and will be replaced by the character of Gabriel. Daryl “Chill” Mitchell stars as Stitch, Maxwell Simkins as Carter and Barrett Margolis as Georgia.
