   POPPA'S HOUSE
NEW SITCOM STARTS TONIGHT ON CBS
Poppa's House opens tonight at CBS
After an extremely successful start of Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage comedy series which had over 8 million viewers in the launch episode last week and the start of Reba's Happy's Place sitcom on Friday, October 21st brings another brand new mutlicamera sitcom as POPPA'S HOUSE will take its new prime time Monday evening spot at CBS. You can check out the funny new trailer and posters in today's post and tell us what you think, will you be tuning in for your weekly dose of laughter this evening?

  WHAT'S THE NEW SITCOM ABOUT?
Replacing Bob Hearts Abishola on Monday evenings after Neighbourhood it follows legendary talk radio host and happily divorced “Poppa” (Damon Wayans) who has his point of view challenged at work when a new female co-host (Essence Atkins) is hired, and at home where he finds himself still parenting his adult son (Damon Wayans Jr.), a brilliant dreamer who is trying to pursue his passion while being a responsible father and husband.

  1. Don't think this is something for us...besides, it's not available for us. We just watched Tom Hank's News of the World....different, but not his best.

    1. It will probably air on some of German stations, I know they love US sitcoms in Deutchland.

  2. I do hope this one sticks around. We haven't seen good, clean, fun comedy on our screens in some time. And I love the Wayans, so bonus there!

    2. Yeah, just checked, Poppa had 4,2 million viewers which is the same as Bob Hearts Abishola whose slot it takes. Reeba had 4 million on Friday, which is two times more than it is usual for ABC comedies and plus it has the grave day Friday.

    3. I'm always so hesitant to start these kinds of series since so many get the axe too soon. Fingers crossed the ratings stay high for them both. I'm also keeping the faith that Tim Allen comes through for us with his new comedy.

    4. Tim's hasn't even started shooting yet, it starts production in November, probably for midSeason run.
