SEANN WILLIAM SCOTT
JOINS NEW TIM ALLEN SITCOM AT ABC
ABC has decided to replace the character of Nick, played by Froy Gutierrez, by a completely new character in Tim Allen's upcoming new multicamera sitcom SHIFTING GEARS. Seann William Scott will play Gabriel, a family friend of Matt (Tim Allen) and Riley (Kat Dennings) who works in the shop with Matt. To start shooting next month, it sees Allen starring as Matt, the stubborn, widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop. When Matt’s estranged daughter, Riley, and her teenage kids move into his house, the real restoration begins. Nick, Matt’s son and Riley’s game coder younger brother, will not be part of the series and will be replaced by the character of Gabriel. Daryl “Chill” Mitchell stars as Stitch, Maxwell Simkins as Carter and Barrett Margolis as Georgia.
I liked some of the other sitcoms Tim Allen was in so maybe this will be good.
ReplyDeleteHe always has the best of sitcoms.
DeleteShould be a good team. I always thought Seann was funny in his roles and Tim I do love, so fingers crossed this new project is a success!
ReplyDeleteIt is funny how sitcoms are now in the hands of comedy legends, Reba, Wyans family, Tim and Seann, plus Emily Osment in Mindy and Georgy which got a good start this week with over 8 million viewers in prime time. Don't know yet what Reba did on Friday, but she does have a bad spot.
DeleteOh, and forgot to ad Frasier to the list as well.
DeleteThat's because creators of today are boring and bland and have no ideas of their own. We have to bring those legends back and hopefully the next generation after this one is inspired to create new and interesting content, not the crap they've been shoving down our throats for the last 15 or so years.
DeleteYou are too optimistic LOL I think things will only go downhill, music, literature, films, morals...
DeleteThat's because people today are brainless wanna be social media stars. The true artists are dwindling, sadly.
DeleteOr almost dead fully.
