According to Deadline, NBC has set Damon Wayans Jr. as the lead of their new drama pilot PUZZLE. After barely escaping a tragic fire, once promising college athlete Mike Brink is transformed by a traumatic brain injury that gives him the unique ability to see the world in an unexpected way and helps him solve crimes with local police. Mike makes his living by betting on sports and is uniquely equipped to do this because he developed Acquired Savant Syndrome as a result of the brain injury. This rare phenomenon gives him exceptional skills in puzzle-solving, higher math functions and pattern recognition.

After an extremely successful start of Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage comedy series which had over 8 million viewers in the launch episode last week and the start of Reba's Happy's Place sitcom on Friday, October 21st brings another brand new mutlicamera sitcom as POPPA'S HOUSE will take its new prime time Monday evening spot at CBS.  Replacing Bob Hearts Abishola on Monday evenings after Neighbourhood it follows legendary talk radio host and happily divorced “Poppa” (Damon Wayans) who has his point of view challenged at work when a new female co-host (Essence Atkins) is hired, and at home where he finds himself still parenting his adult son (Damon Wayans Jr.), a brilliant dreamer who is trying to pursue his passion while being a responsible father and husband.

CBS has unveiled Fall schedule and with it first teasers for new multicamera sitcoms. Young Sheldon spin off GEORGIE & MANDY'S FIRST MARRIAGE will air from Fall on Thursday evenings. Coming from Chuck Lorre it follows Georgie (Montana Jordan) and Mandy (Emily Osment) as they raise their young family in Texas while navigating the challenges of adulthood, parenting and marriage.
