Today, it remains a culinary icon, famous for providing the highest quality, when it comes to smoked fish, caviar, bagels, bialys, babka and other Jewish delicacies. The original shop on East Houston Street is enshrined as a New York treasure and reflects four generations of the Russ family’s dedication to excellence, history and tradition. It is also the first known American business with “& Daughters” in its name.
