CAMERON CUFFE

SHAUN SIPOS

is Adam Strange,  a world-weary, time-travelling human, who finds himself stranded on Krypton as the unlikely mentor to Seg-El. Adam will stop at nothing to ensure that the greatest hero who ever lived actually exists.

 AARON PIERRE

is Dev-Em! Bound to Lyta-Zod, Dev-Em is a Sagitari who has always relished his role as a protector of Kandor. He admires Jayna as the perfect template of a warrior, but he's loved Lyta since childhood, and his jealousy of Seg could destroy everything.

WALLIS DAY

is Nyssa-Vex,  the youngest daughter of House Vex and brilliant lawmaker, she understands the city's politics and is utterly at home within the establishment of Kandor's ruling class. She's adept in the art of political alliance, but it is Seg who will teach her about friendship when she betrays her family for the rebellion.

ANN OGBOMO

is Jayna-Zod,  the leader of Kandor's Military guild and Lyta's mother. She has dedicated her life to protecting the city from threats within and without. She wants nothing more than to leave behind a legacy of ironclad duty. She did, however, have to betray the government and join the rebellion.

IAN MCELHINNEY

is Val-El, Seg's grandfather and one of Krypton's greatest scientists, he was instrumental in Krypton's greatest era of scientific progress, before being executed for treason. After a fourteen-year absence, he returns to become a pivotal player in defeating the threat against Krypton.

GEORGINA CAMPBELL

is Lyta-Zod. Torn between proving herself worthy of the Zod name and her innate desire to help and heal the people of Krypton, Lyta-Zod is fierce and compassionate. Lyta's journey of self-discovery means forging her own destiny in the face of what society dictates. 

EMMETT SCANLAN

is Lobo, the crazy new villain, one of many, in the new season in which it seems all of the universe's nastiest villains have their eye on Krypton!  His Lobo is the legendary galactic maniac, a ruthless bounty hunter who murdered his entire species!

Sam Strike will be the young Deschain!

I'm a bit late with this one, but according to this week's news, Amazon has cast young Sam Strike as the lead star of their THE DARK TOWER fantasy series which is getting a pilot order even though the movie version was a rather big flop two years ago. He will play famous gunslinger Roland Deschain in the small screen adaptation of Stephen King's famous sf saga. As Deadline reports, it will be independent from the film and is meant to be a more faithful retelling of the book than the movie was. The story should take place many years before the events in the film focusing on Roland Deschain’s origin story – how he first became a gunslinger and got his guns, his first conflict with the man in black, his first love and his first mission as a gunslinger. As another addition to the cast, Jasper Pääkkönen has been cast as Marten, a man Roland is out to kill.

Krypton starts March 21st on SyFy

Definitely one of the most anticipated of the new science fiction television series this year is KRYPTON which arrives to SyFy this March 21st set on the home planet of Superman's grandfather before it got destroyed. Coming from Superman and Batman movies producer David S. Goyer, with Cameron Welsh as the show runner KRYPTON stars Cameron Cuffe, Shaun Sipos, Elliot Cowan, Blake Ritson and is based on DC's characters.

THE STORY OF NEW SF TV SERIES KRYPTON

Elliot Cowan is Daron Vex, the Chief Magistrate of Kandor whose real business is defending Krypton’s established oligarchy against heretics and dissidents. Hannah Waddingham will be Jax-Ur leader of the underground terrorist organization, Black Zero.

Not much to report today, people, but what we do have is truly magnificent - amazing first teaser for SyFy's upcoming new sf series KRYPTON about the early years of Superman's grandfather!  THE STORY OF KRYPTON 
is set two generations before the destruction of the legendary Man of Steel’s home planet following Superman’s grandfather Seg-El, whose House of El was ostracised and shamed, as he fights to redeem his family’s honour and save his beloved world from chaos.

SUPERMAN'S GRANDFATHER

The lead role has been given to Cameron Cuffe who plays Seg-El, destined to be the ancestor of Jor-El (future father of Superman) and Kal-El (the future Superman), he is the scion of the once prosperous El family and is blessed with an intuitive brilliance for all things technical. He now is living in Krypton’s lowest caste after his family was stripped of its rank. Ian McElhinney will play Val-El, grandfather of Seg-El, a rogue genius who believes that space exploration is a basic form of self defence, and he has tried, without success, to warn the Kryptonian elite about the arrival of an ancient threat. Elliot Cowan is Daron Vex, the Chief Magistrate of Kandor whose real business is defending Krypton’s established oligarchy against heretics and dissidents. Ann Ogbomo will be Primus Alura Zod, Lyta Zod’s (female lead played by Georgina Campbell) mother and a leader of Krypton’s military guild, an extremely tough training officer. Rasmus Hardiker will play Kem, a brilliant engineer as well as Seg-El’s best friend and partner in an underground tech repair business. Wallis Day will play Nyssa Vex, a junior magistrate and the daughter of Daron Vex. Aaron Pierre is Dev-Em, a cadet under the command of Primus Alura Zod.
