scholarship, and get out. But her fortunes change in an instant when billionaire Tobias Hawthorne dies and leaves Avery virtually his entire fortune. The catch? Avery has no idea why – or even who Tobias Hawthorne is. Barnes has had her novels translated in more than 30 languages so far.

I think that’s most kids dream- survive high school, get a full ride scholarship, and get the hell out of the town they were raised in. Too bad we all can’t have a billionaire leaving their riches to us though.
