DeleteWho steals a heart? I guess there's probably a buyer on the black market, but like don't those things have limited time to get in a body and doesn't there have to be some kind of blood match? Sounds like a real pia to steal a heart unless you already have someone needing that particular one and is available right now for the transplant.

DeleteI imagine this happens more than we know still. Organs can fetch a large sum I'm sure. The rich people who get put on long waiting lists would probably pay a lot of money for harvested organs.
