JOEL EDGERTON JOINS TIMOTHEE CHALAMET AT NETFLIX
Joel Edgerton played Rhamses the Pharaoh recently
News from the period set projects today! A few weeks ago I informed you that Timothee Chalamet is going to play Henry V in THE KING a new Netflix movie adaptation of Shake- speare's plays Henry IV and Henry V, which will deal with the king's youth, and now he is being joined by Joel Edgerton who will play his famous companion knight Falstaff who often appeared in his plays. Chalamet will be prince Hal of England who takes the crown as King Henry V! David Michod of War Machine is directing the whole project

Keeley Hawes joins Jerusalem
KEELEY HAWES JOINS
  'JERU- SALEM' WW2 SERIES
Although everybody's fave Momma Durrell Keeley Hawes is to play British Home Secretary in new BBC series Bodyguard with our dearest Richard Madden, it seems she will rule politics in JERUSALEM as well over at Channel 4! She has just joined their new period set World War 2 series in which Emma Appleton plays a young woman who joins British civil service in 1945 and agrees to spy on her own government for the Americans. Luke Treadaway, Matt Lauria, Brandon P. Bell and Stephen Campbell Moore also star in the WW2 drama in which Keeley Hawes will play her exacting boss at the civil service, who becomes an unlikely role model of what a woman can achieve in a man's world. This means Keeley will have a series within the same year on each of UK's three biggest channels.

   EMMA THOMPSON TO PRODUCE
'HARROW ALLEY' 17TH CENTURY HORROR SERIES AT HBO
Emma will also write the small screen adaptation
Meanwhile, another great British thespian Emma Thompson will produce a period set horror TV series based on a long lost script HARROW ALLEY over at HBO! The story is set during the black plague in the 17th century and follows an English town as it deteriorates. It revolves around the fortunes of two men, likeable but lawless rogue Ratsey and well meaning alderman Harry, who are both trying to survive the dangers of the time. The script was originally written by classic Hollywood writer Walter Newman and is often, as 'Deadline' reports, used in film classes becoming in certain way legendary.

  1. Excuse me, but that skinny little brat Timothee Chalamet will never be a better Prince Hal/King Henry V than Tom Hiddleston was. I know you'll agree with me, Dezzy.

    1. more than agree, Debs. Somebody is pushing that talentless little boy on us like crazy, I cannot believe he was nominated for an Oscar and Armie wasn't. Hiddles is the law. Keeley played a queen in Hollow Crown if you remember too :)

    2. Some of the best ideas are probably laying around the Hollywood floor just so they can push remakes and superhero shit down our throats 24/7.
