TOM RILEY TO STAR IN
THE WOMAN IN THE HOUSE
While we are waiting to see his role in new Victorian fantasy series The Nevers at HBO this April our dearest Tom Riley has already lined up a new
gig: he will take the male lead in THE WOMAN IN THE HOUSE mini series for Netflix. Kristen Bell is the female lead as heartbroken Anna, for whom every day is the same. She sits with her wine, staring out the window, watching life go by without her. But when a handsome neighbor moves in across the street, Anna starts to see a light at the end of the tunnel. That is until she witnesses a gruesome murder… Or did she? Riley will play Bell’s new neighbor, a charming and handsome single dad. But is this undeniably sexy widower too good to be true? Rachel Ramras, Hugh Davidson and Larry Dorf are show runners.

MICHAEL CAINE
IS THE GREAT ESCAPER
Amazing British director Oliver Parker is preparing a new feature film and he has set two time Oscar winners Michael Caine and Glenda Jackson as leads. As Screen Daily reports, THE GREAT ESCAPER, inspired by true events, will see Caine play octogenarian Bernard Jordan, who escaped from his care home in the summer of 2014 to attend the 70th
Anniversary of the D-Day Landings in France.
Glenda Jackson (who has recently returned to film after a 15 year long career as a member of British parliament) will play his wife of 60 years, Irene, in this story which follows Jordan’s 48-hour adventure as he slipped out of his care home to join fellow war veterans on a beach in Normandy, commemorating their fallen comrades.
