  LITTLE GENIUS: IBN SINA
NEW HISTORICAL TV SERIES
Since we are in the middle of the writers' strike I have promised you we will cover that period by venturing more into the international waters, so
The series has ten episodes in the first season
today we are voyaging over to Turkey where a new ten episode historical saga has already started airing earlier this month. LITTLE GENIUS: IBN SINA (Küçük Dahi: İbn-i Sina) kicked off its run last Sunday on TRT. The series depicts the the childhood of legendary Ibn Sina, commonly known in the West as Avicenna, one of the most significant 10th century physicians, astronomers, philosophers, and writers of the Islamic Golden Age, and the father of early modern medicine. You can check out the beautiful series trailer below and tell us what you think.

 THE STORY OF THE SERIES
Ibn-i Sina is a curious boy who seeks to discover knowledge, does not fit into his age, and has an intelligence beyond his time. He reads Aristotle's Metaphysics book many times in order to understand it, does research instead of playing games like his peers, and mostly talks with his best friend, the goat Socrates. Kaan Alp Uncle, Meriç Özkaya, Deniz Bolışık, Ekin Pasvanoğlu, Mehmet Ali Kaptanlar, Recep Efe Ekemen take part in the cast. Besides philosophy and medicine, Avicenna's corpus later on included writings on astronomy, alchemy, geography and geology, psychology, Islamic theology, logic, mathematics, physics, and works of poetry.

  DOMINA SEASON TWO
STARTS SHOOTING THIS SPRING
Second season will shoot this spring
Earlier this winter I informed you that Epix has greenlit the second season of their DOMINA epic TV series and now we have a confirmation that it will start shooting this spring in Rome and will, beside Epix, also again air on Sky in Europe next year. The series that sees Kasia Smutniak playing Livia Drusilla, Caesar's (Matthew McNulty) wife, chronicles the struggle for control of the Roman Empire, and of Rome’s Imperial Family from a rare female perspective. In its first season, Livia Drusilla, the golden girl of the prominent Claudii family returned to Rome after ten years in exile, determined to regain everything that was stolen
