This January in their Winter Escape series of weekend movies, Hallmark is taking romance to exotic locations with some new films set in tropical locations. Among them is CAUGHT BY LOVE with our dearest Luke MacFarlane which premieres January 24th also starring Rachael Leigh Cook. While on a journey of self-discovery, a resort guest gets swept into an undercover investigation for stolen jewels that turns into an unexpected and adventurous romance. 

 

 

A Melbourne Match is on January 10th

A MELBOURNE MATCH

Taking us down under to Australia with our dear Ryan Corr in the lead role alongisde always lovely Mallory Jansen is A MELBOURNE MATCH which hits Hallmark Saturday evening January 10th. In this delightful and sun filled summery romance in the middle of winter she plays Georgie, a travel writer, who travels to Melbourne for an assignment where she meets Zach (Ryan Corr), an ex-Australian footballer who agrees to be her tour guide and shows her that there's more to life than work.

 

 

Lost in Paradise airs January 3rd

LOST IN PARADISE

The Winter Escape series will actually be launched January 3rd by LOST IN PARADISE which stars our dearest Ian Harding in the lead male role. Paul Hughes and James Trevena also star in this exotic romantic comedy in which Lacey Chabert plays the lead female role. When the founder of a high-end fashion company gets marooned on an "deserted" island with a chef, romance blossoms as they work together to survive. Love on the Amazon is on January 17th

LOVE ON THE AMAZON

Probably the most exotic of them all taking us all the way to the jungles of Amazon is LOVE ON THE AMAZON which will sail onto Hallmark Saturday January 17th with Jaicy Elliott and Rafael de la Fuente postraying the lead characters in this romantic adventure. She stars as Claire who travels to Brazil and hires Danny, a riverboat captain, to help her deliver an important message for her sister Amelia, a marine biologist studying pink dolphins on the Amazon River. An Unexpected Valentine opens Loveuary

actors. As you know, they always proclaim February as Loveuary month and that won't change this year either. Opening the romantic season is our dearest hunk Robert Buckley in AN UNEXPECTED VALENTINE which lands on Hallmark as soon as February 1st launching the first Loveuary weekend. A chance encounter on Valentine's Day brings Hannah and Finn together as they race through New York City to return a lost engagement ring and save one couple's special day. Lacey Chabert takes the female lead in this one. Marco Soriano and Anthony Timpano also star in the new movie. Check out the teaser below:

 

SISTERHOOD, INC. WITH RACHEL LEIGH COOK

Sisterhood Inc arrives February 22nd

Also arriving to Hallmark next month ready to close it on the last weekend is SISTERHOOD, INC. which will have its premiere February 22nd with Rachael Leigh Cook in the lead role. Daniella Monet and Leonidas Gulaptis also star in this movie about corporate exec Megan who starts a board of directors to improve her younger sister's chaotic life and finds romance with a psych professor who uncovers her tough demeanor.

  NEW ROYAL FILMS ON HALLMARK

It is also interesting that there will be a whole month of new royal films on Hallmark judging by the posters of some of

Andrew Walker will be The Reluctant Royal

their upcoming movies, could March be the royal month? We do not know yet, but we do know our dearest Andrew Walker will lead one of them. THE RELUCTANT ROYAL will see him play Johnny, a mechanic in Philly who is royally surprised by the revelation that his dad is a duke! While reconnecting with his dad doesn’t go exactly as planned this reunion does have the added bonus of meeting an advisor to the duke no less, Prudence (Emilie de Ravin). Then there is also THE ROYAL WE in which lovely Mallory Jansen will play princess Bea who is forced into an arranged marriage with a prince (Charlie Carrick) from a small kingdom after her older sister elopes with a non-royal. Another of our fave hunks William Moseley, who is no stranger to prince roles, will wear a crown again in ROYAL-ISH in which Nichole Sakura will play Lacey, an amusement park princess who befriends 8-year-old Rose, a real-life princess, and is recruited by her handsome father to travel to their kingdom and be the new governess.
