FOR NEW RUSSIAN 19TH CENTURY SERIES
Earlier this week, Monday May 12th a new period set series EVIL PEOPLE (Злые люди) has started on Russian NTV based on the "Detective Chronicles"
book series by Nikolai Svechin. The series is also available for streaming on Ivi streamer. The cast includes Pyotr Rykov, Alexander Lykov, Dmitry Nagiyev, Yan Tsapnik, Roman Mayakin, Angelina Strechina and Irina Pegova. The action takes place in 1895. Nizhny Novgorod is preparing for the largest trade event of the year - the fair. But in the measured and prosperous life of the city, a high-profile murder of the richest man - the leader of the provincial nobility - occurs. Aleksey Lykov (Pyotr Rykov), an employee of the Nizhny Novgorod detective department, takes on the task of 
solving this case. Step by step, he encounters evil that goes beyond his understanding. And in order to defeat it, he puts everything on the line: love, honor, and even his life. Check out the trailer below and tell us what you think.

Il trailer di Persone malvagie promette un thriller intenso e carico di tensione, con atmosfere cupe e personaggi ambigui. Sembra giocare sull’inquietudine quotidiana, lasciando intuire che il male può nascondersi dietro volti insospettabili. Intrigante e disturbante al punto giusto.

DeleteI feel like there's no evil that's beyond my understanding anymore. The disgusting atrocities I hear almost daily inflicted by fellow humans, nothing surprises me. Humans are trash and the world really needs a reset without us in it.
