TRAILER FOR JAMES CAMERON'S "CIRQUE DU SOLEIL WORLDS AWAY"! NEW FILM ADAPTATIONS: "GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY", "TOM CORBETT SPACE CADET", "BIG HERO 6" & "INSANE JANE"

The only trailer I got for you today is a very unusual one: it is for magnificent and enchanting CIRQUE DU SOLEIL WORLDS AWAY 3D an extremely imaginative stage show which will hit cinemas this December in the form of the film. Produced by James Cameron and directed by Andrew Adamson (THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA) this 3D film event features artistic and acrobatic performances from some of the most elaborate Cirque du Soleil productions. Check out the breathtaking clip bellow.

COMIC BOOK HEADLINES
Yet another comic book we shall see adapted onto the big screen, according to "MovieWeb" is Bluewater's  TOM CORBETT: SPACE
CADET. The graphic novel follows young Tom who is juggling schoolwork, cadet training and saving the world while experiencing the adventure of his life every other day. But this is not the only of Bluewaters graphic novels to hit film, since INSANE JANE will get adapted too. Take youthful energy. Add in some over-active imagination. Mix in some powdered donuts. Sprinkle it with delusional disorder and you get ... Insane Jane! The kookiest action hero of the 21st century. Will Jane save the day? Will Jane destroy the world? Will she remember to take her medication?

 SUPERHERO HEADLINES
When it comes to superhero news, those seem to arrive on a daily basis lately. First, it seems that the mysterious date of May 16th, 2014, which Marvel has reserved for a premiere of one of their future film
adaptations has been left forGUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY after all. According to "The Hollywood Reporter" the film could be connected to AVENGERS 2 in the way that the sequel to this years major blockbuster will be announced in the story of the GUARDIANS which follows a group of aliens who take refuge on Earth and have to defend the planet against another alien race known as the Badoom. Meanwhile, Disney is preparing another Marvel comic book film adaptation but this time in animated version: they will make BIG HERO 6 into an animated flick. The film will include a bunch of heroes including Silver Samurai, Sunfire, GoGo Tomago, Honey Lemon, Hiro Takachiho and Baymax, who were brought together by the Japanese government to do their bidding.

  4. Geez tons of superhero stuff today. Never heard of any of them that I can recall besides Silver Samurai, but if it is a sign of Avengers 2 works for me. Would rather see Cirque for real instead of in the theatre.

    1. the Avengers have unleashed the flood or opened the Pandora's box. And I don't even like superhero flicks :(
Cirque is currently in my capital, with their ALEGRIA show :) They will fill Belgrade Arena two nights in a row with four shows for almost 50,000 spectators :)

    2. Wow that is a ton, Cirque sure pulls in the dough for it's show. And yeah the Avengers brought forth a ton more, but most of them will be crap anyway.

    3. we always have tones of people on concerts and shows. Rolling Stones had more than 150,000 spectators in Belgrade a few years ago :) and that witch Madonna also brought a ton.... Jennifer Lopez is coming with Enrique Iglesias this Fall and has sold thousands in just first day.

  9. The Cirque Du Soleil trailer is great. Wow. Cameron does stunning work.

Action heros are popular so it's no wonder they're making many movies. Love the look of Insane Jane.

Have a great weekend, Dez. Sorry I haven't been around more. Writing like a mad woman.
