COMIC BOOK HEADLINES
Yet another comic book we shall see adapted onto the big screen, according to "MovieWeb" is Bluewater's TOM CORBETT: SPACE
CADET. The graphic novel follows young Tom who is juggling schoolwork, cadet training and saving the world while experiencing the adventure of his life every other day. But this is not the only of Bluewaters graphic novels to hit film, since INSANE JANE will get adapted too. Take youthful energy. Add in some over-active imagination. Mix in some powdered donuts. Sprinkle it with delusional disorder and you get ... Insane Jane! The kookiest action hero of the 21st century. Will Jane save the day? Will Jane destroy the world? Will she remember to take her medication?

Ooh. This is all very exciting! I have yet to see anything by Cirque du Soleil, too. :P
ReplyDelete-Barb the French Bean
hope you see them live sometime, they are currently in my country with their ALEGRIA show.
DeleteNever heard of that marvel team
ReplyDeleteit's one of their obscure comics :)
DeleteThe Cirque Du Soleil shows always blow my mind. I don't know if I'd go watch that at a theater, but I'll probably check out the DVD when it comes out. :)
ReplyDeleteyep, I guess the cinemas is for the 3D experience :)
DeleteGeez tons of superhero stuff today. Never heard of any of them that I can recall besides Silver Samurai, but if it is a sign of Avengers 2 works for me. Would rather see Cirque for real instead of in the theatre.
ReplyDeletethe Avengers have unleashed the flood or opened the Pandora's box. And I don't even like superhero flicks :(
DeleteCirque is currently in my capital, with their ALEGRIA show :) They will fill Belgrade Arena two nights in a row with four shows for almost 50,000 spectators :)
Wow that is a ton, Cirque sure pulls in the dough for it's show. And yeah the Avengers brought forth a ton more, but most of them will be crap anyway.
Deletewe always have tones of people on concerts and shows. Rolling Stones had more than 150,000 spectators in Belgrade a few years ago :) and that witch Madonna also brought a ton.... Jennifer Lopez is coming with Enrique Iglesias this Fall and has sold thousands in just first day.
DeleteI've seen one Cirque du Soleil show live and I've seen video clips as well. I'd love to see this movie. The performers are amazing.
ReplyDeletethey are, the best of the best, usually chosen among professional athletes and medal winners.
DeleteAhhhhhhhhh more super hero stuff! CIRQUE DU SOLEIL looks visually stunning though, should be good.
ReplyDeleteit is the example of visual splendour :)
DeleteCIRQUE DU SOLEIL wow. However, I'm not sure how it would translate into a full-length film.
ReplyDeleteit should be good, maybe even better since, unlike the real show, you will here see everything from all angles and with special effects. And in 3D :)
DeleteThe Cirque Du Soleil trail looks amazing. And no tall, skinny, blue aliens!
ReplyDeleteyep, it's a wonder he didn't put a Navi in the show :)
DeleteThe Cirque Du Soleil trailer is great. Wow. Cameron does stunning work.
ReplyDeleteAction heros are popular so it's no wonder they're making many movies. Love the look of Insane Jane.
Have a great weekend, Dez. Sorry I haven't been around more. Writing like a mad woman.
Insane Jane could actually be an interesting one, she sounds hilarious and looks hot :)
DeleteHope the inspiration is serving you well :)
That trailer is spectacular ~ And more superheroes to thrill us ~
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend Dez ~ Will be hitting the beach tomorrow ~ Take care ~
oh, lucky you, Grace, take a dip for me too, I don't have any beach close to me!
DeleteIs it wrong to be tired of so many super heroes? Is so, call me wrong.
ReplyDeleteCirque du Soleil looks interesting, although, I'd much rather see them live!!
I've always been tired of superheroes :) Or not of them, but of bad movies on them.
DeleteMy feelings exactly...except for a very select few.
DeleteI'm yet to see a good superhero film, the only superhero show I've ever liked was THE FLASH back in the early 90's. And I loved FLASH GORDON film, but Im not sure if he is a superhero.
DeleteI love Cirque du Soleil. I first saw them here in Chicago way back in 1990 or so as a part of the International Theater Festival. It was unlike anything I had ever witnessed and I try to see a performance whenever I can.
ReplyDeleteThat trailer was amazing and I will be first in line to see this. I am so going to have sell stuff to see the movies this December. LOL
oh, just don't sell your PLAYGIRL collection and vintage erotica book :PP
DeleteLMAO Never! What would I do for inspiration, then? :P
Deletegotta know what your biggest treasures are :)
DeleteCIRQUE DU SOLEIL WORLDS AWAY does look amazing. I haven't seen a live performance of CIRQUE DU SOLEIL before but I'd love to one day.
ReplyDeleteThat Cirque looks amazing. I am not sure it will be released in my country...or maybe only in very limited cinema :(
