Two trailers for you today! Straight from Disney today a new trailer for their new animated adventure MOANA has swum up together with a new poster! The movie is out this November.

With voices from Dwayne Johnson and Nicole Scherzinger, MOANA follows an adventurous teenager who sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana meets the mighty demigod Maui, who guides her in her quest to become a master wayfinder. Together, they sail across the open ocean on an action packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana fulfills the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she's always sought: her own identity.

There is also the first trailer for Tom Ford's highly stylised thriller drama NOCTURNAL ANIMALS  starring Amy Adams, Jake Gyllenhaal, Aaron Johnson, Michael Shannon, Isla Fisher, Armie Hammer and out this November.

The big screen adaptation of the 1993 novel by Austin Wright, NOCTURNAL ANIMALS is a story about a successful Los Angeles art gallery owner whose life is jarred when she receives a manuscript written by her first husband, who she has not seen in years. As the woman reads the book, she is forced to face the dark past.

NICOLE SCHERZINGER STARS

While newcomer Auli‘i Cravalho lends her voice to the title character, who dreams of becoming a master wayfinder, and Dwayne Johnson to Maui — her love interest, half god, half mortal - probably the shiniest addition to the cast is one of world's most talented pop stars Nicole Scherzinger who lends her voice to Sina, Moana's mother. Playful, sharp and strong-willed, Sina appreciates Moana’s longing to be on the water, but also wants to protect her daughter from the fabled dangers beyond the reef. Temuera Morrison voices Moana’s father, Chief Tui, the gregarious and well-respected leader of the people of Motunui Island!

Moana's pets include  Pua, her loyal pet pig with puppy energy and an innocent puppy brain. Alan Tudyk is behind the voice of Heihei, a dumb rooster who accidently stows away on Moana’s canoe. Jemaine Clement provides the voice of Tamatoa, a self-absorbed, 50-foot crab who lives in Lalotai, the realm of monsters. Rachel House voices Gramma Tala, Moana’s confidante and best friend, who shares her granddaughter’s special connection to the ocean! And then there are also The Kakamora, an intense team of crazy, coconut-armored pirates who will stop at nothing to get what they want

NEW NETFLIX PILOTS

'EDGE: THE LONER' TV WESTERN WITH RYAN KWANTEN AND MAX MARTINI IN THE CAST

Not much to report today, it's been a very slow week! Netflix has announced a number of pilots which could turn into series if audience likes them. Among them is western EDGE: THE LONER set in 1868, with Max Martini playing a Union officer turned cowboy, who prowls the post Civil War American west doling out his own peculiar brand of justice. Australian superstar Ryan Kwanten and Yvonne Strahovski round up the cast.

CHRISTINA RICCI IS 'Z'

Meanwhile, Christina Ricci will lead Z playing Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald, the original Jazz Age 1920s icon. It follows her passionate and turbulent love affair with and marriage to writer F Scott Fitzgerald (Gavin Stenhouse) and their lives as a famous couple. The series travels through the wild parties, the wicked jazz and the dissolute artists of the era, as well as the alcoholism, adultery and mental illness that characterised the couple's later years.

Disney has released the first photo from November 2016 new animated movie MOANA showing the title character and demigod Maui voiced by Dwayne Johnson! In the ancient Oceania, Moana, a born navigator, sets sail in search of a fabled island. During her incredible journey, she teams up with her hero, the legendary demi-god Maui, to traverse the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous sea creatures, breathtaking underworlds and ancient folklore.

Deadline reports that gorgeous Oscar winner Rachel Weisz might join Colin Firth in director James Marsh’s untitled biopic based on the true story of amateur sailor Donald Crowhurst and his attempt to win the first round of the World Yacht Race in 1968. Before that, after a two year break from acting, Rachel will join Michael Fassbender in THE LIGHT BETWEEN OCEANS which follows a lighthouse keeper and his wife living off the coast of Western Australia who raise a baby they rescue from an adrift rowboat. She will also join Michael Caine, Jane Fonda and Harvey Keitel in THE EARLY YEARS about two old friends, a composer and a director, who spend their vacation in an elegant hotel at the foot of the Alps. She will also join Ben Whishaw, Lea Seydoux, Colin Farrell in interesting sf film THE LOBSTER set in a dystopian near future where single people are obliged to find a matching mate in 45 days or are transformed into animals and released into the woods.

DWAYNE JOHNSON TO SING AND

 LEND VOICE IN DISNEY'S 'MOANA'
In other movie news, Dwayne Johnson has confirmed that he will lend his voice to a demigod Maui in Disney's new animated movie MOANA. The film, which arrives into theatres in November 2016 will also have him sing! MOANA follows a young girl who sets sail on a nautical quest in the South Pacific world of Oceania, to find a lost and fabled island. She eventually teams up with the demigod Maui on an action packed voyage where they must fend off enormous sea creatures, explore underwater worlds and immerse themselves in Polynesian culture. Disney has also announced work on a live action version of Winnie The Pooh today!
