Seeing the magical costume that Queen Ravenna and Ice Queen Freya are wearing in the trailers, you can expect an award winning costume designer behind all the fantastic gowns and crowns: three times Oscar winner Colleen Atwood is behind all of the outfits including Freya's mindblowing silver armour that she wears while riding into battle on her snow warbear! MERLIN's superstar Colin Morgan appears also in the movie as Duke of Blackwood! There will be female dwarves this time as well played by British actresses Sheridan Smith and Alexandra Roach. Speaking of epic things, Starz has announced today that one of their most popular shows OUTLANDER will return with the second season on Saturday April 9th! Based on Diana Gabaldon's second book from OUTLANDER saga 'Dragonfly In Amber' the 13 episode season will see Scottish warrior Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and his adulteress wife Claire (Caitriona Balfe) rocking some lavish French fashion as you can see them on the steps of the royal court in Versailles in the first promo poster! Instead of swords and guns, they’re armed with political savvy in the 1700s Paris as they embark on their new mission: infiltrating the French aristocracy and rewriting history after they arrive in France, hellbent on infiltrating the Jacobite rebellion led by Prince Charles Stuart, and stopping the battle of Culloden.

Disney is planning a movie saga on young MERLIN and the latest info is that they have hired LORD OF THE RINGS and HOBBIT's Philippa Boyens to pen THE MERLIN SAGA! Based on more than ten of T.A. Barron's novels which were published from 1996 till 2011 following a boy who washes ashore in ancient Wales, with no recollection of who he is, as he becomes determined to learn the truth about his magical powers. As you know, Colin Morgan gave a masterful portrayal of the young wizard in BBC's MERLIN TV series.

Methinks we're having a hunkfest today, starting with blond God Jai Courtney who has just joined historical drama, the adaptation of Alan Judd's novel THE KAISER'S LAST KISS set in the early years of World War II, in the aftermath of the Nazi invasion of the Netherlands in 1940. Living there is former monarch Kaiser Wilhelm (Christopher Plummer), in exile since 1917. In an effort to thwart the Nazis, the Dutch resistance work covertly with Winston Churchill to insert an agent into the Kaiser’s household. A lethally dangerous love affair ignites between a German officer (Jai Courtney) and a young Jewish Dutch woman (Lily James) with devastating consequences as the Nazis race to identify and eliminate the agent behind the potentially disastrous defection of their former Emperor to England.

CHRISTOPHER RUSSELL AND DYLAN PLAYFAIR ARE MALE LEADS
Hunkfest in TV domain continues with the news of Christopher Russell and Dylan Playfair being cast as male leads in ABC Family's new multicamera sitcom GORGEOUS MORONS. Previous weekend I announced that Lilah Richcreek will be the female lead. They will play two stunningly handsome but ridiculously simple brothers who find their lives rocked by their brainy new roommate, Jane whose looks are, by their standards, in desperate need of help! Christopher Russell will be Madison, a pretentious but vapid model capable of getting whatever he wants by simply flashing his incredible smile. After Jane moves in with Madison and his brother AJ, he admits to his insecurities and fear of letting people down. Behind his pride and vanity, Madison is a caring, loving man who wants nothing more than to provide for his brother. Dylan Playfair will be AJ, a personal trainer, a former ugly duckling who is not always comfortable with his hunkiness. Dieting and personal grooming are more of a struggle for AJ than for Madison. When his landlord threatens to evict them, AJ invites Jane to live in their third room, unaware of her distaste for his brother. More charming than his smile or clueless nature is his constant optimism and ability to see everyone as a friend.

One of our dearest of the young British actors, delightful Sam Claflin is eyeing a role in his fourth major movie franchise (beside PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN, HUNGER GAMES and STAR WARS): he will return to his original role in SNOW WHITE prequel THE HUNTSMAN. Even though the Snow White has been kicked out of the picture (a joyful news given how bad Kirsten Stewart was in the role), Sam Claflin will again play prince William whose kiss awoke her from her death. He will again return in a smaller part, in the prequel which will now explain how THE HUNTSMAN (Chris Hemsworth) and Queen Ravenna (Charlize Theron) have first met. Emily Blunt is supposed to play another villainous queen, while Jessica Chastain will be Huntsman's first love. I've informed you recently that the film will have female dwarves for the first time played by Sheridan Smith and Alexandra Roach.

 It has also been announced today that Sam Claflin will take the lead role in ROBIN FRIDAY biopic playing the controversial and wild English soccer legend who played for Reading and Cardiff, Wales in the 1970s and died tragically at the young age of thirty eight.

Meanwhile, we shall finish this week with the trailer for historical drama FREEDOM which is out this June, starring Cuba Gooding Jr. and William Sadler! In 1856 a slave, Samuel Woodward and his family, escape from the plantation. A secret network of ordinary people known as the Underground Railroad guide the family on their journey north to Canada. They are relentlessly pursued by the notorious slave hunter Plimpton. Hunted like a dog and haunted by the unthinkable suffering he and his forbears have endured, Samuel is forced to decide between revenge or freedom. 100 years earlier in 1748, John Newton the Captain of a slave trader sails from Africa with a cargo of slaves, bound for America. Now, I'm sure you will agree that as soon as they fired that talentless and expressionless Kristen Stewart the SNOW WHITE sequel, or a prequel actually, suddenly became interesting and attractive especially with the focus shifting over to Chris Hemsworth's THE HUNTSMAN! But will it be even more interesting if I tell you they're bringing first female dwarves or dwarvesess :) into the movie? Latest news from Hollywood say that Sheridan Smith and Alexandra Roach along with Rob Brydon have joined the cast and will all play the dwarves. Charlize Theron will reprise her role of evil queen Ravenna, with gorgeous Emily Blunt also joining the cast (as the new villain) alongside Jessica Chastain (As Huntsman's love). THE HUNTSMAN starts hunting April next year!

In today's TV news, Miramax will turn THE BROTHERS GRIMM into fantasy TV series! To be penned by Ehren Kruger who wrote the godawful film of the same name from 2005, the series will follow the swashbuckling adventures of brothers Wilhelm and Jacob Grimm, who discover startling mythology and supernatural stakes behind the folklore sweeping 19th century Europe.
ANNA- BELLE WALLIS JOINS 'KING ARTHUR'
Speaking of tales and legends, the latest one to join Guy Ritchie's THE KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND TABLE: KING ARTHUR is Annabelle Wallis (she played queen Jane Seymour in THE TUDORS) who will play Maid Maggie next to Charlie Hunnam's Arthur, Jude Law's  tyrant Vortigern, Eric Bana's Uther and Astrid Berger Frisbey's Guinevere in the new story in which Arthur runs the back alleys of Londonium with his gang, unaware of the life he was born for until he grasps hold of the sword Excalibur
