SEE EPIC TRAILER FOR LUC BESSON'S DRACULA: A LOVE STORY WITH CALEB LANDRY JONES, MATILDA DE ANGELIS AND CHRISTOPH WALTZ

  DRACULA: A LOVE TALE
EPIC MOVIE TRAILER IS HERE!
French filmmaker Luc Besson has released a rather epic trailer for DRACULA: A LOVE TALE an upcoming gothic horror film written and directed by him and based on the 1897 novel Dracula by Bram Stoker. It stars Caleb Landry Jones, Christoph Waltz and Matilda De Angelis and should be released in France on 30 July 2025. You can check out the trailer with the English subtitles below and tell us what you think.
 A STORY SPANNING CENTURIES
Hailed as probably most expensive French movie of the year, it has the story set in the 15th century, following Prince Vladimir who blasphemes and denies God after the death of his beloved wife. He becomes a vampire, condemned to wander the centuries. When, 400 years later, he meets a young woman who bears an uncanny resemblance to his dead wife, he's ready to do anything to win her over. The story spans centuries exploring the curse of immortality.

NICHOLAS HOULT IS DRACULA'S CRAZY HENCHMAN RENFIELD IN UNIVERSAL'S NEW MOVIE! CHEVALIER DE SAINT GEORGES PERIOD SET DRAMA FINDS ITS MARIE ANTOINETTE IN LUCY BOYNTON

   NICHOLAS HOULT TO PLAY
DRACULA'S HELPER RENFIELD
Nicholas Hoult will be Renfield!
It will be Universal's new epic movie on Dracula's favourite henchman RENFIELD with Chris McKay directing and Nicholas Hoult taking the lead role. In the original Dracula novel, R.M. Renfield was an inmate at a lunatic asylum who was thought to be suffering from delusions but actually is a servant of Dracula. The sad news is that it seems the story will be set in the present times, so it won't be a costume drama. Beside this one, Universal studio also has Wolfman with Ryan Gosling and Van Helsing movies in preparation within their Monster Universe movie series which hasn't been overly successful so far.

CHEVALIER DE SAINT GEORGES
FINDS ITS MARIE ANTOINETTE
Lucy Boynton will play the French queen
After casting Samara Weaving as a female opera singer last month, new period set movie CHEVALIER DE SAINT GEORGES has cast the queen of France Marie Antoinette who will be played by Lucy Boynton. The lead role goes to Kelvin Harrison Jr. who will play the title character:  Born in 1745 in the French Caribbean, de Saint Georges was the illegitimate son of an African slave and a French plantation owner. He rose to improbable heights in French society, dazzling as both a violinist and composer and a champion fencer. An ill-fated love affair with a French noblewoman and a falling out with Marie Antoinette and her court led to his untimely downfall. Stephen Williams is directing the costume drama movie.

  FIRE: NO ESCAPES MOVIE
SUPER THRILLING TRAILER
Fire is available around the world from this week
You can also check out a very thrilling trailer for Russian disaster movie FIRE aka NO ESCAPES aka OGON, which played in Russian cinemas last Christmas, but is available everywhere around the world from this week. Konstantin Khabenskiy, Roman Kurtsyn, Andrey Smolyakov and Irina Gorbacheva are leading the cast. It is a heroic story about firefighters and rescuers. What we call an act of bravery is just a usual routine for them, if only one can get used to mortal danger and extreme risk. When people in distress seem to have nobody who may help them, rescuers come to fight against merciless forces of nature.
The film was directed by Alexey Nuzhny
Given it aired during covid pandemics, the film has earned a rather nice sum of almost $15 million in cinemas around the world. Check out the exciting action packed trailer for the disaster movie below and tell us what you think:

BBC & NETFLIX TO GIVE DRACULA SOME FRESH BLOOD IN NEW EPIC MINI SERIES! JULIAN FELLOWES TO TELL STORIES BEHIND PORTRAITS IN 'THE ROYAL COLLECTION' SERIES

BBS AND NETFLIX TO GIVE
DRACULA SOME FRESH BLOOD!
Vlad Dracula by Claudia McKinney!
This has been mentioned sometime ago, but now BBC One has announced that they are officially making DRACULA mini series together with Netflix and Sherlock producers Hartswood Films! The series, which will have three hour and a half long episodes, is written and created by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss and inspired by Bram Stoker’s classic novel. Three feature length episodes will re-introduce the world to Dracula, the vampire who made evil sexy. In Transylvania in 1897, the blood drinking Count is drawing his plans against Victorian London. And be warned: the dead travel fast. Whom would you like to see in the lead role?

   'THE ROYAL COLLECTION'
JULIAN FELLOWS TO UNCOVER STORIES BEHIND PORTRAITS
So many portraits, so many stories behind them!
Speaking of epic series, Downton Abbey's creator Julian Fellows will make scripted series on THE ROYAL COLLECTION based on the queen's art collection which is the biggest in the world!  As 'Deadline' reports, it will depict stories behind portraits which hang in the royal collection! Every episode will end with the portrait being painted. For instance, one of the stories is a servant who worked for three kings and the queen. Spread across 13 historic royal residencies in the UK, the collection is owned by Queen Elizabeth II and overseen by the Royal Collection trust. There are around 1 million objects including 7,000 paintings and 30,000 watercolours and drawings as well as photographs and furniture.
