LIVES OF MAYFAIR WITCHES
AMC OPENS WRITERS ROOM FOR NEW ANNE RICE TV SERIES
Earlier this week we announced that Sam Reid will lead new Interview With A Vampire series at AMC and we've got news that they have also
opened writers room (meaning if they get enough good scripts they might order it directly to series) for another Anne Rice adaptation - her LIVES OF THE MAYFAIR WITCHES series. The potential series would focus on an intuitive young neurosurgeon who discovers that she is the unlikely heir to a family of witches. As she grapples with her newfound powers, she must contend with a sinister presence that has haunted her family for generations. Esta Spaulding and Michelle Ashford are penning scripts and will executive produce if the series gets ordered.
AMC has rights on 18 of Rice's works |
