PREMIUM SPOTLIGHT ON BECOMING ELIZABETH EPIC TV SERIES WITH LAVISH NEW CAST PHOTOS FROM THE TUDOR COURT AND TRAILER

 BECOMING ELIZABETH
BEHOLD THE FUTURE QUEEN!
Becoming Elizabeth will start June 12th
We usually don't have anything to watch in summer, but this year Starz will fill it for us with their new epic TV series BECOMING ELIZABETH and we are celebrating it with lavish new cast photos including Alicia von Rittberg as the future queen and Tom Cullen as lord Seymour. The eight episode historical saga will start June 12th on Starz and Starzplay (their channel on Amazon Prime Video) globally. Long before she ascended the throne, young Elizabeth Tudor (Alicia von Rittberg), was an orphaned teenager who became embroiled in the political and sexual politics of the English court. The death of King Henry VIII sees his nine-year-old son Edward (Oliver Zetterström) take the throne and sets into motion a dangerous scramble for power, when Elizabeth, Edward, and their sister, Mary  (Romola Garai) find themselves pawns in agame between the great families of England and the powers of Europe who vie for control of the country. Thomas Seymour (Tom Cullen), the new King’s

uncle, quickly marries King Henry’s widow,  Catherine Parr (Jessica Raine), but soon takes an interest in the teenage  Elizabeth while Duke of Somerset (John Heffernan), loses no time in claiming the position of Lord Protector for himself when the old King dies.

 BECOMING ELIZABETH SAGA
is the fascinating, untold story of the early life of England’s most iconic Queen. Long before she ascended the throne, young Elizabeth Tudor was an orphaned teenager who became embroiled in the political and sexual politics of the English court. The death of King Henry VIII sets into motion a dangerous scramble for power. His surviving children find themselves pawns in a game between the great families of England and the powers of Europe who vie for control of the country. The world of BECOMING ELIZABETH  is visceral, dangerous, and very bloody; a time in which every man or woman of the court is on the wheel of fortune, which may take them to a position of great power one moment, or the executioner’s block the next. Judgements are rendered quickly, and no one is safe.

 WHO IS AT THE COURT?
Alicia von Rittberg plays Elizabeth I, a teenager who thinks she is an adult and old enough to play the games that she is thrown into after the death of her father. Tom Cullen plays Thomas Seymour, simultaneously charming, playful and funny whilst being hotheaded, ambitious and possibly dangerous – he expects the spoils that ought naturally to fall to the King’s uncle! Romola Garai stars as Mary, Oliver Zetterström as Edward, Jessica Raine as Catherine Parr, John Heffernan as Duke of Somerset, Jamie Parker as John Dudley, Jamie Blackley as Robert Dudley, Jacob Avery as Guildford Dudley, Alexandra Gilbreath as Kat Ashley, Leo Bill as Henry Grey, Bella Ramsey as Jane Grey, Ekow Quartey as Pedro, Alex Macqueen as Stephen Gardiner, and Olivier Huband as Ambassador Guzman. Anya Reiss is the creator and executive producer of the show. Check out the trailer below and tell us what you think.

  WHAT DID THE SPY THINK?
Dull! Dull is the word to describe this ghastly monotonous affair of a series. Dull casting with dull uninspired lead actress with zero charisma and a dull voice and looks set in dull costumes and sets to which the dull art production and lighting give no shine nor splendour leaving them even more dull. From dull writing and direction, the dullness never ceases to leave this wretched show that does not deserve any of your attention.

 THE RINGS OF POWER
CHARACTER POSTERS ARE HERE!
And since this will obviously be a day of massive epic treats, check out the mysterious (as in they don't really reveal the characters) and gorgeous character posters for LORD OF THE RINGS prequel television series THE RINGS OF POWER which will arrive to Amazon Prime with its first eight episode season September 2nd! The cast of the series inspired by Tolkien's work is massive and so is the number of these brand new posters. This epic drama is set thousands of years before the events of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, and will take viewers back to an era in which great powers were forged, kingdoms rose to glory and fell to ruin, unlikely heroes were tested, hope hung by the finest of threads, and the greatest villain that ever flowed from Tolkien’s pen threatened to cover all the world in darkness. Beginning in a time of relative peace, the series follows an ensemble cast of characters, both familiar and new, as they confront the long-feared re-emergence of evil to Middle-earth. From the darkest depths of the Misty Mountains, to the majestic forests of the elf-capital of Lindon, to the breathtaking island kingdom of Númenor, to the furthest reaches of the map, these kingdoms and characters will carve out legacies that live on long after they are gone! The cast led by Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Robert Aramayo, Owain Arthur, Maxim Baldry, Nazanin Boniadi, and Morfydd Clark as young Elven queen Galadriel will also include Ismael Cruz Córdova, Charles Edwards, Trystan Gravelle, Sir Lenny Henry, Ema Horvath, Markella Kavenagh, Joseph Mawle, Tyroe Muhafidin, Sophia Nomvete, Lloyd Owen, Megan Richards, Dylan Smith, Charlie Vickers, Leon Wadham, Benjamin Walker, Daniel Weyman, and Sara Zwangobani. The shooting of the second season has already been granted over at Amazon.

 STRANGE NEW WORLDS
STAR TREK GETS AIRING DATE
New series arrives this May!
New STAR TREK series STRANGE NEW WORLDS has got a launch date of May 5th over at Paramount + and the first poster! It is interesting that the series has already been renewed for a second season. It will follow episodic adventures of the Enterprise’s original crew long before James T. Kirk was captain. Anson Mount, Rebecca Romjin, and Ethan Peck will be returning as Captain Pike, Number One, and Spock Celia Rose Gooding will play Uhura, Babs Olasanmokun will play Dr. M’Benga, and Jess Bush will play Christine Chapel; new characters on the bridge include Christina Chong as La'an Noonien-Singh, Melissa Navia as Erica Ortegas, and Bruce Horak as Hemmer. With other

series in the franchise, Discovery and Picard proving a disappointment with the fans, the audience is having high hopes for this one which will have episodic stories rather than having a seasonal plot. That is something that we haven't seen in 17 years ever since Enterprise finished.
