Starting production next month down in Spain's Barcelona and Canary Islands is historical action movie THE LAST DRUID which starts when Roman Emperor discovers a secluded Druid stronghold in the mountains of
Caledonia. A peaceful Celtic elder (Russell Crowe) must take up arms to protect his family and people from annihilation. Helmed by William Eubank it will also star Andreas Pietschmann, Rose Leslie, and Daniel Zovatto.

DeleteI admit that if you put Romans, Celts, misty mountains and Russell Crowe looking tired of the Empire in front of me… I’m already half inside the movie hahaha. Besides, Russell Crowe usually nails these kinds of battle-worn characters, so the role suits him perfectly. And the fact that part of the filming will take place in Spain makes me like it even more.
