QUEEN OF PERSIA
LAVISH EPIC TV SERIES FROM BRAZIL
This one already aired over in Brazil last year, but I wanted to draw your attention to is because it is also airing on different channels around the world,
so maybe you will manage to catch it somewhere and watch as it looks truly epic. 38 episodes long historical romance QUEEN OF PERSIA (A rainha da
Pérsia) was obviously inspired by Magnificent Century epic saga from Turkey and 300 telling the lavish story of legendary Persian king Xerxes played by
Carlo Porto and his wife queen Esther played by Nathalia Florentino. It is based on Biblical The Book of Esther and it was shot over in Morocco with the
team of over 100 people including more than 60 actors. The production had the help from the local team who worked on Ridley Scott's Gladiator 2. The
rest of the series was shot in lavish studios back in Brazil. It aired on Record channel and Univer Video streaming platform as well.

Beautiful costumes!
ReplyDeleteLooks very epic indeed.
DeleteFilm avvincente che unisce intrighi di corte, coraggio femminile e passione in un contesto storico suggestivo. L'interpretazione intensa della protagonista rende la storia ancora più coinvolgente.
ReplyDeleteUn saluto
It is such an interesante storia, especially as the Persian are often portrayed as vicious in the west which is opposite of truth.
DeleteGracias por la reseña. Tomó nota. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteBe welcome.
DeleteShe is quite pretty and the costumes look rich. Though I am not sure I can commit to so many episodes. It seems like after about 10, I start growing bored with any series these days.
ReplyDeleteIt obviously aired almost a whole year.
