The Parenting will stream from March 13th

Brian Cox, Edie Falco, to Dean Norris, Parker Posey, and Vivian Bang! It follows young couple Rohan (Nik Dodani) and Josh (Brandon Flynn) as they plan a perfect weekend getaway in the country to introduce their parents. As tensions begin to flare between the more traditional Sharon (Edie Falco) and Frank (Brian Cox) and the laid-back Liddy (Lisa Kudrow) and Cliff (Dean Norris), the families soon realize that their rental, managed by eccentric local Brenda (Parker Posey), is haunted by the presence of a 400-year-old poltergeist. When one parent becomes thoroughly possessed, it’s up to the young couple and their meddlesome BFF Sara to unite the families and stop the evil entity once and for all. It will also stream from March 13 on Binge and April 4 on Foxtel over in Australia.

FROM MERTEUIL FRENCH COSTUME SERIES

Max has revealed first images from their new French original series MERTEUIL which has started shooting in Normandy back in September with Anamaria Vartolomei (Isabelle de Merteuil), Diane Kruger (Madame de Rosemonde), Vincent Lacoste (Vicomte de Valmont) and Lucas Bravo (Comte de Gercourt). With grandiose and intimate settings, from the cliffs of  Normandy to the châteaux of Ile-de-France, the series follows Marquise de Merteuil who, betrayed by Valmont, embarks on a daring journey to become Paris’ leading courtesan! To be the hero of your own story, you sometimes have to be the villain in others. English title for the series will be THE SEDUCTION. It will be a free adaptation of Pierre Choderlos de Laclos’s novel Les Liaisons Dangereuses.

The series drops November 3rd

HBO has released an official trailer for their six episode series adaptation of Laura Esquivel's LIKE WATER FOR CHOCOLATE which hits Max November 3rd. Set during the Mexican Revolution in the early 20th century, it follows Tita de la Garza (Azul Guaita) and Pedro Múzquiz (Andrés Baida), two souls deeply in love, yet unable to be together due to entrenched family customs. The protagonists navigate a world of magical realism and rich flavors as Tita struggles between the destiny imposed on her by her family and her fight for love. Along the way, the audience will witness her greatest refuge: the kitchen. For Tita, her magical connection to cooking becomes an active resistance against oppression, allowing her to channel her deepest desires and passions into her recipes, transforming those who taste them.
