Sony has released first trailer for their new period set movie THE CHORAL from director Nicholas Hytner who had Ralph Fiennes, Mark Addy

in the cast of the film set in Ramsden, Yorkshire in 1916 and out November 7th!
THE STORY FOLLOWS
the chorus
master and most of the men of the ambitious local Choral Society, who
have volunteered for the front. Under
the direction of the demanding, driven Dr. Guthrie (Fiennes), the
Choral recruits a crop of teenage boys and girls. Together they discover
the joys of singing and the urgency of desire as the new boys come to
terms with their imminent conscription into the army. The pic explores
the humor and humanity at the heart of a community facing an uncertain
future.
Now, here's a plot that sounds very nice: as 'Deadline' reports today Greg Kinnear will take the lead role of a husband whose marriage is on the rocks so he goes to great lengths without his wife’s knowledge to demonstrate how much he loves her in PIANO LESSONS.
Based on a true story, it will see him playing a lawyer who after 20
years of marriage realizes his relationship with his wife is failing.
The wife, passionate about music, is ready for a new life after their 19
year old daughter leaves the nest. To win her back and prove his love
to her, he decides to take piano lessons to learn her favourite song,
Robert Schumann’s “Traumerei,” a delicate song to master. He goes to a
free spirited, sexy female piano teacher to take lessons behind his
wife’s back and slowly progresses from all thumbs to pianist.

It is in a group of five new pilots and the votes from viewers will decide which one will be ordered for a whole series. I've watched the pilot and I can tell you that it is intriguing, atmospheric and proves Madden's magnetic charisma with which he carries the role of the show's lead with great ease. With a quick pace and tense atmosphere, the pilot leaves you wanting for more after the opening episode ends up with a scene of mysterious and stunning revelation.
